Cactus Data Shield
Those little buggers at BMG are now using CD copy protection on UK CDs.
Normally I buy a CD, ogg it and then listen to it off my hard disk. Since CloneCD makes perfect copies, it seems pointless to me other than being a real pain. I hear that it may not play on my car player either... I think I will take the CD back. |

I'll reply to my own post.
I'm keeping the CD since it is possible to mp3/ogg it... Just use CDEX. Although it doesn't appear to work with all CD players. What a waste of time, 'copy-protecting' a CD when it doesn't actually stop it being copied! |
