Does anyone think Stella might have lied about not knowing about the agreed prices? It all seemed a bit odd.

I reckon she knew full well, but let Melissa and Stuart get on with an invalid deal, realising that they'd get into trouble for it.

Of course she did. It couldn't have been more transparent.

I haven't re-watched, but I seem to remember it was actually her who suggested bringing the price down. I seem to remember it being her sale. She was just after the figures.

And do you really doubt that she'd have been happy to take the credit had the sale been allowed?

STella looked either bored or not well last night. She didn't look motivated at all.

I think Stella lied about not knowing the price. She probably forgot in the heat of the moment when she actually made the deal, then plead ignorance in the boardroom as its better to pretend you never heard the price at all, than say you knew full what the price structure was, but forgot when you walked into the shop.

Poor old Nelson Mandela.

It's not about being quiet. The programme edits weekly who they want in the limelight.

No, no - far too classy for Lord Sugar. She'd be bored in a week. I'd be amazed if she really wanted it. I think she's bored with it all already.

I think her inability to stick up for herself last night in the boardroom is telling. She failed under the pressure of scrutiny from AS. If she cant handle a simple question like the one from last night and tried to bluff (lie) her way unconvincingly out of it i dont think she will be able to stand up for herself very well in a proper boardroom battle.

I dont think she will make the final

Liz is also brilliant.

Maybe last night was one of the days where Stella was busy looking after her sick mother.

Tim and Kirsty's team set an (at the time) record for most sales on pretty much exactly this task, and neither of them won, so I don't think Liz is a lock (snerk) to win.

At the moment I think Chris, Christopher, Stella, and Liz are the obvious contenders based on how the show's worked before. Christopher I'd be on the verge of ruling out based on the fraud/porn stuff, but I guess you never know. Stuart, Sandeesh and Alex have all been sold by the show as making delusionally stupid statements that rule them out (I am a brand/I will propel you to world domination/I invented the bus), Jamie's audition tape was hacked up on the show's website to make him look like a moron, Paloma's very much a "baddie" and the show tends to want you to like the winners, Joanna's a convicted racist and an on-show troublemaker, and Laura's weak as a kitten (although I have an itch that she makes interviews or gets close).

I would say that maybe the show will do something new and have a different sort of edit for the winner, but it hasn't really so far.

I'm sticking to my prediction after the first episode. This woman is the real deal.

Not to me, hes shown more leadership and ideas over the course of the show then most of the other people. Hes more of a risk taker then stella as well, but thats my view

The best candidate won.

Obvious from the beginning who had this in the bag.

She had an early lead, but then didn't appear to do much, and then had some big fails near the end. I wouldn't say it was obvious until Liz and Joanna fell, and even then I had wondered if Chris might by some quirk win.

You must be proud of her. I heard the Irish connection when I saw her great-aunt on 'The Final Five'. I thought either she or Liz would win from quite early on. Do you speak to her much?
