Cancelling a Mobile Contract
Apologies if this has been covered here before but I was just wondering how much you get fined for cancelling a contract. I have a contract with T-Mobile and always cancel my contract after the minimum of 12 months so I can get a new phone, sometimes even with the same tariff. But if there was a small fine (I've heard it can be as low was £10) it may be worth me prematurely cancelling my contract so that I can get a new offer I have my eye on (an offer which ends just before the contract can be terminated).
Many thanks. |

the last contract I had (vodafone) the fee was what was left on the contract. IE if there was 3 months left that was the fee.

as i work for o2, and i know about contract cancellations and all that stuff, you only get charged the line rental you would have paid anyway, so if your half way into your contract, you will pay the rest of the contract... and sometimes depending what fone you have, they have the right to take the fone back, if it was free........ or a free upgrade......but they dont always...... i wouldnt call it a fine really, its just a cancellation fee......

I think it's a new network, but BT. I remember they had BTCellnet before but I've not seen any shops/sites offering BT tarrifs on their own.
