Did anyone watch The Apprentice: You're Fired? What was she like on that?

At the beginning of the series I thought Mel would be a strong contender for the job, but quickly saw the error of my ways after a couple of episodes. Maybe she was edited badly, but she seemed a pretty useless, incompetent and indecisive project manager last week, and her pitching was downright awful in this last ep. Mel needed to go, I think.

Easy, a TV producer involved in initial selection sees her, thinks "oh, yeah. Thank you God, thank you for sending Melissa to me". Pushes her for inclusion along with the three or four actual real candidates - reminds Sugar, should he protest about the cushy fee he's paid to play along, with a promise that he can fire her by week 4 and hey presto, car crash TV.

She has re-invented herself, what we saw in the Apprentice was due to others being competitive..according to her.

I loved her shock at being told by Karen she was no good at pitching...she needs to look at the shows and acknowledge she was wrong, rather than think a change of hair colour and smile is the solution.

Like almost all candidates, she came across much better on the spin off show!

Cringed at behaviour, saying she wish she'd shown more decorum at the end. And said she felt under a lot of pressure to live up to the reputation she had created for herself and this affected her performance negatively. Also admitted to being a bit confrontational, and felt she needed to defend herself a lot during the show.
