She so deserved to go! Kept on saying how brillliant she was and then like AS said she didn't deliver!

How pathetic of her to say in the boardroom when questioned about her failures about her pitching that how am i supposed to learn if people don't help me if I'm doing wrong or words to that effect when she gets angry when people do that and again she keeps saying how brilliant she is!

I think she is/was just incredibly immature and insecure. The way she tried to reinvent herself by wearing a wig(?) and a bright pink, shapeless thing was funny though.

She was horrible in last nights show. Glad she went.

She seemed to have learnt her lesson like they all do in the You're Fired show straight after!

Oh she was an utter idiot. Doesn't matter how she came across in the You're Fired episode, she was a tit of massive proportions on the programme. I've seen toddlers act with more maturity

I think (or should that be hope!) she was bricking it especially given what she said after being fired to Jamie and Stuart. She had to come across as more likeable - either that or Dara O'Brien was going to say she'd refused to come on the show!!

Was she drunk on the first evening. The woman is a total idiot.

She also trod the time honoured path of "fessing up" on You're fired and claiming she was not as bad as made out.

I don't buy that (rather like the people at her pitches) she was a nightmare in pitches and a shambles selling on the show.

I am sorry she has gone though. She was entertaining and annoying.

The dress looked a hell of a lot better clinging to Rachel Riley on Countdown than it did flopping around Melissas shoulders.

I was a bit gutted with You're Fired last night - I'd hoped they'd give her a roasting and say what we've all been thinking these last couple of weeks! But they went quite easy on her. She'd also clearly been styled and had some media training - you could tell the advice she'd been given was 'say you've learned and show you can laugh at yourself' . I don't believe it for a second!

They always try to be positive on YF (after all most of the time they have been humilated on national TV). If they'd had Michelle "bra woman" Mone on there with Melissa though...

In the context of the Apprentice - a TV competition, yes I would, because it's graceful and professional. Melissa showed her total lack of "professionality", but I wasn't surprised.

Do you really think, under all that pressure and emotions, the contestants are aware that they're being filmed so should act professionally ?

The whole point of the Apprentice process is to see who can keep their cool and professionalism when under pressure. When someone like Melissa can't act professionally at all times, it only shows it was right for them to be fired.

Whether it's being filmed or not is largely irrelevant - in no business environment should you openly behave as Melissa did.

She could've saved herself the last shreds of her dignity by leaving with at least some small measure of grace and courtesy, yet she did not.

Er, yes. I do think they should act professionally. It's their profession. They profess to be able to do the job. That includes coping with criticism, discipline and rejection.

I thought Melissa was treated with kid gloves quite excessively last night on YBF. She had to be up there with most irritating and outrageous candidates ever but I don't remember the YBF show treating the others in that category so lightly. Not reshowing the clip of her tapping that calculator for minutes and then coming up with £1.82 struck me as odd. Also with other candidates they often show a video sequences of all their worst bits and then the best bits at the end but with Melissa they only did the latter.

All in all it made me wonder why that was and either she'd refused to appear unless they'd agreed to tone down comments or she's been ill in the interim, or maybe some other reason we're not aware of. I would imaging that it is in their contract that they _have_ appear on YBF but I guess if a candidate really says they won't there's little they can do except to pursue it in law.

I also thought she's been given some serious media training in the interim, not to mention an appearance make over. Although I'd have thought a little black number like Liz wears would have been more flattering than that pink thing with triangles all over it.

The only saving grace is I cannot see her getting her own TV show and let's hope she doesn't show up on game shows like the dreadful Katie Hopkins did!

You have just reminded me that I took an extreme dislike to her that first episode when she kept saying 'sauce-arge-es'!

Don't worry - not much danger of that. She hasn't been on the show long enough and she'll be eclipsed by other candidates as the show goes on.

Oh no............ I should have known someone was going to mention her......... just when I had finally erased the mental image of the blue eyeshadows and the white suits.

AS doesn't care. He wants some one decent who he can employ. It's not like Simon Cowell who owns the production team and everything and cares about ratings.

She's a vile putrid women, ugh...

Think if she'd managed to sell those rolls for £1.82 each last week she would have been lauded as the best salesperson ever.... vile, horrible person. I am staggered that she is apparently considered good at sales, the mistakes she made were rudimentary ones.
