Paloma wont stop at anything to get business even it is unethical

Honouring exclusitivity to one customer in spite of others who have just bought from you, seems wrong

Certainly no an honest, serious way to do business

It's not so much her lack of ethics, but her lack of common sense that worries me.

She's too eager for these big deals without thinking about the consequences of them. Last week she almost over-burdened her team with yet more baking, and this time she lost a big order because she again promised something that couldn't be delivered.

More trouble than she's worth.

Yeah, the woman is definetely more trouble than help

I really hope she goes next, well her or Stuart, his lack of social awareness is gobsmacking !!!

She also failed to grasp, as did Laura and Sandeesh, that they were representing someone else and couldn't offer exclusivity.

This exclusivity business does seem to be a bit of a puzzle for this year's crop. Laura turned it down in task 2 when she was selling their own product so had authority to accept it, but accepted it when she didn't have the authority.

Yeah, I think it's a basic failure to grasp the difference between the two tasks that's in play here. Laura, having been lambasted last time for turning down an exclusivity deal, clearly heard only the word "exclusivity" and immediately thought I'm not gong to make that mistake again!

And she didn't.
She made another, worse mistake.
Honestly: pretty and sexy but brain definitely in neutral. Why don't they just stop to listen?

I also thought it was reprehensible the way they argued and fought like fishwives (do fish have wives?) outside the guy's shop while he waited to see if he would be given exclusivity on the deal. They seemed to have forgotten him altogether: he could obviously hear them shouting and arguing outside his shop. Very very unprofessional, and I'm a little surprised Nick didn't make a comment, though the camera focussed on him about twice during the altercation.

She's hot though.

She has this really off-putting demeanor about her, I hope Stella just sorts her out if they are teamed up again..

I so want her to go. She wasn't being on the level again, she said "I was just about to propose it", meaning exclusivity! Yeah, pull the other one!

Far to vindictive and fiery, I'd never take on anybody like that!

The guy was trying it on, exclusivity for a corner boutique, he was having a laugh, was he going to stock them next to the poppers and rubber toys

I reckon he'd been tipped off by Nick or the film crew.

Paloma is not really that good. She also is a rather unpleasant person based on the 4 episodes shown. She is just making up the numbers. She also looks like she has been sucking on a lemon.

Thnk you all have missed the point of the show!

The objective is to get as much money in the tol box by the end of the day.

Have you ever worked in the distribution industry?

Paloma suggested Soho as a place to sell the T-shirt and it was the best decision that was made.

If you listen carefully, she didn't offer nationwide exclusvity. She gave one retailer a definite time period within a few streets in Soho. That is not exclusivity.

I felt sorry for her because she was trying to explain that to Chris in the car but he was drowned out by his monotone he didn't listen & blew it out of scale.

Sandeesh ended up agreeing with Paloma that it was better to go ahead with that order then carry on with her tiny order.

It was all about sales figures for the end of the day!

Laura was shocking cutting in on her pitch like a spoilt brat and then demanding a cut.

Paloma is head & shoulders more clued up- it is shame she has to deal with catty, young & bitchy girls.

I think if they had to go back and retrieve the orders from other shops in thea area, just because this " last " customer wanted exclusivity it is plain wrong.

I dont think she is a true contender, i think she is two-faced, and not very discerning about the consequences of her ""business decisions ".

But then it is my opinion, and we are all entitled to have different opinions, peace

i am a ex colleague who knows how switched on she is..

I'm sorry to break your apprentice dreams but if you are competent why aren't you applying or even making the cut?

Also camera man on the day has already mentioned in another blog that Sandeesh's order was done out of pressure.

When you go through a camera in a shop & force people to buy they do so but grudgingly. That is why they only accepted a very small order.

Paloma & Sandeesh knew this that is why it wasn't a big deal to them it was off.

Out of interest, what do you do for a living?

as I said- she is really sweet, super nice & really really loyal.
She sticks up for people in the workplace when they are being treated poorly.
I rate her highly & it saddens me to see so much shit written about lovely people who get stitched up by television networks.

they do get a bashing from editing, but there is time to come good. Malicious Melissa was 1000% nicer on the You've been fired programme. I did read recently that Nick etc sometimes give misleading info to the teams to spice things up.

Having read some of your previous comments, worryingly you seem to cut from the same cloth.
