I agree she was better in general than the other two; heck, I actually like Paloma. But she did get that wrong about exclusivity.

I thought it was more shocking of Paloma not to split the whole sale three ways. The deal was exclusice so there was no chance that either of the other two girls could have sold more.

Paloma reminds me of a classier Katie Hopkins - completely ruthless and willing to sell out anyone to get what she wants. She will go far but not win. I liked her at first but now can't stand her. She was shocking in last weeks task, taking on orders that they couldn't possibly honour and this week selling out her two team mates, just for a few sales. She's not someone I'd want representing my company.

Sorry, but lying on tape is really stupid, and she has done it twice now. Paloma is a proven liar, as well as a bully who steals other people's sales.

By the way, how do you know what Paloma and Sandeesh think? There is only one way, Paloma. You are a bad liar here too.

I get the impression that Paloma is the type of person to enjoy that type of environment and I can't imagine she would be happy to live off a rich hubby and be a kept woman. If it wasn't for her questionable business ethics, I would really respect her, as she is obviously an intelligent and classy woman. However, her ruthless agression lets her down.

I think you've missed the point, and Chris was totally correct. She didn't have the authority to offer an exclusive deal to anyone, no matter what area they covered, without first talking to the manufacturers. She made a mistake, and Chris was completely correct.

Why should she have split the sale three ways when she made it? She was willing to give up the equivalent amount to the sales the other girls had already made that would have to be cancelled, and that seemed perfectly right and fair to me.

I agree with you that last week she acted foolishly in taking orders with no consideration of whether they could meet them. To be fair, her PM Shibby had indicated he wanted to take the maximum number of orders they could get, so she was just following what he'd said, but she did seem to agree with the strategy and even wanted to go on with it when Shibby had realised the mistake.

But I can't agree about this task. She made mistakes, both on not realising they couldn't give exclusivity and on engaging in a stupid row with Laura and Sandeesh within hearing of a client. But I don't see the "selling out" that you do. I've still to see any immoral (as opposed to mistaken or foolish) behaviour from her.

Paloma is not a proven liar; she may have simply forgotten what she said to Shibby about Sandeesh. You obviously think she was lying and you could be right, but it's not proven.

The word bully is coming to be used too loosely. I haven't seen Paloma bully anyone; she does argue passionately but that's not bullying. Nor have we seen her steal anyone's sales. You might feel that she should have conceded more of her sales to the other girls given the exclusivity; personally I don't agree but at any rate it's not stealing their sales.

There is also no evidence that Loona123 is Paloma; that poster's accounts are certainly full of contradictions to the extent that at least some of what she says must be lies, but there is no reason at the moment to think she has any inside knowledge at all, and personally I don't think she really has anything to do with the show.

I don't think that's a reason. The fact remains that everyone would get the sales they made credited to them. Paloma wouldn't be able to sell anymore either.

Which shows how short-sighted she was. As someone else pointed out elsewhere, 200 units wasn't enough to grant exclusivity.

She expressed a negative opinion about Sandeesh in the car. When they got to the boardroom, she denied all knowledge of saying this and acted shocked that anyone in the team felt like Sandeesh was just along for the ride.

Like you say, she may have forgotten what she had said, or even that she had said it, but no matter what, if she was being truthful, she should still have held the same negative opinion of Sandeesh. If you have a problem with someone, you don't just suddenly forget all about it. Even if at a later point you change your mind about that person, you don't forget what you thought about them originally over such a short period of time. So whilst she may well have forgotten about the conversation itself, the lie was acting like she had no problem with Sandeesh and being shocked at the suggestion that anyone in the team would have expressed such an opinion.

If on the other hand she really doesn't have a problem with Sandeesh, then she must have been lying in the car.

Either way, she lied at some point.

But she effectively ended the game whilst she was in the lead. It's like three fishermen agreeing to spend the morning fishing. The take turns to cast their lines in the lake to see who can catch the most. The first gets a tiddler. The second gets a tiddler. The third gets a big fish and says that's it, no more fishing in the pond today. Sure, he doesn't get to fish anymore in the lake, but what's it to him, he's won!

Whilst you are given more leeway to Paloma than I or many others would do, I agree with you about Loona123. Some deluded idiot who couldn't even spell . Despite her many faults, I think Paloma has rather more than a basic grasp of the English language (yes you Mel!). I don't think Loona has even met Paloma, let alone has any insight on anything. If the team agreed to an exclusive deal which would prevent any further deals being made, then the sale should have been split three ways. Group decision=group reward. If Paloma had sold 200 units without exclusivity and the other girls wanted a cut, then I wouldn've been the first person to say they were out of line. The other girls let themselves down. If that was me, I would've told Paloma in no uncertain terms that for an exclusive deal to go through, either the sales were split evenly or the deal didn't happen.

Oh, I don't disagree there. Even if they had authority to offer exclusivity, that doesn't make it a good idea. I'm defending Paloma on her morality and ethics here, not her judgement, which has been poor in many respects.

You're right that she would still have known that her opinion of Sandeesh was low, regardless of whether she remembered saying anything to Shibby about it. I don't recall her specifically saying that she had a high opinion of Sandeesh in the boardroom though, so either my own memory is at fault or there's still no proof that she lied.

But bear in mind that the three girls were on the same team, competing with another team rather than with each other. If making the deal was likely to help win the task, which I assume Paloma in her deludedness thought it would, then it was right to do it, even though it "ended the game" (presumably they could still have tried to sell outside Soho, so it didn't quite). And it was just coincidence that exclusivity was requested when it was her deal, or so I assume.

I am confused here Paloma didn’t deny the girls their sales but she was right, Sandeesh has the cheek to get half of the sale, she told her you get what you sold which she agreed but Laura wanted half of the sale because she think she closed the sale even though it was her who moaned about them getting involved with her sale.

I don’t think Paloma was out of order, and I am not a fan of her after lying last week. I think she is good sales women but got carried away, like last week instead of fighting with Laura she should have called her pm to check if she can offer the deal.
