Seems it's exclusive to Tesco:

Haha, she is over before she has even began. I kind of feel sorry for her after wasting the past 2 years.

She can't have much hope can she if it's only available in Tesco. It doesn't seem as if you can even download it on any other site.

I quite like her debut single and her follow up sounds pretty good too. Better than Cheryls first efforts.

The album isn't meant to be a money-maker, it's a brand experiment to create credibility for Nadine, before launching her with more mainstream material further down the line.

And given she's her own boss (it's her record label that's releasing it!), I doubt she's going to get dropped.

its not her record label, it's tesco. Yes, she has more of a free rein on proceedings, but it's not her own label.

lol, no. Tesco are just the exclusive distributor. The label is Black Pen Records, which is owned wholly by Nadine. Tesco have zero input into the album.

I may be wrong, but I thought the album was only exclusive to Tesco for a certain period of time, then it would get a wider release. But anyway its also available to buy digitally through the usual places.

I think it is being released through her own label - Black Pen Records - and Tesco are just the distributors. Something like that anyway.

I think tesco are funding it all though, aren't they?

the video was very tesco value, they have to be!

I love the way a lot of people talk about Tesco like it's cheap, but will no doubt waltz off there any day now to do their shopping.

She was offered a deal by Girls Aloud's record label, just like Cheryl Cole. Nadine turned it down because she wanted FULL creative control over her album. She wanted to write & find musicians herself. A record label would have given her other people's songs and make her mime manufactured crap like Cheryl.
I can't believe she's being slated & laughed at for this. Surely it's admirable and shows what her true passion is?

A cheaper looking video in return for music (commercially successful or not) you're proud of and wrote yourself?

At least she'll perform LIVE. Which is more than can be said for the talent show "judge" she knows.

But that's obviously what they have tried to do by only selling it at Tesco, because the only reason anyone would do that is because Tesco has offered them a bag of money to do it.

There's no sense in only selling your album at one retailer unless they've given you enough money to cover the loss in sales at other retailers (or more).
