Announcement of the end credits of a recording The Apprentice on BBC HD ...."If you use Series Link then you will need to reset to the new BBC 1HD channel which launches on 3rd November". With the new channel not yet on the EPG ( at least on Humax) just exactly how are we supposed to do this? I have ADDED another Series Link from BBC 1 SD in the hope that something will work!

My Humax set the series link on BBC HD to sometime after 11 PM, not sure exact time. At least they warned us about the series link being broken.

Still you don't need a HD picture to enjoy them bitching.

I programmed Wallace and Gromit into my HDR for next Wednesday on BBC 1 HD.

Although the channel is not listed yet you can enter it by going to BBC 1 in the guide where it asks if you want to record the SD version or the HD version.

Not got a clue what happens to series that are already half way through a series though.

Just done mine. Can't be missing W&G.

I notice that the One show doesn't offer an HD 'upgrade' though nor anything up until the Apprentice

The reservation says BBC-HD - interesting need to keep an eye on it after BBC1-HD makes it on to the epg

freesat info on 999, freesat news, then important info for freesat+.
Says Freesat+ customers should reset any recordings for the BBC HD Channel after it has moved to Channel 109, but it does not say when its moving.

That’s odd because my TV mag has Jimmy’s Food Factory and Nigel Slater’s Simple Suppers listed as HD on BBC 1 but has not got The Apprentice listed as being HD, but we know up to now it has been.

These programmes run at the same time that BBC HD will be showing Natural World and Horizon then, it’s not unknown for TV mags to get it wrong. What’s on TV have correctly marked up BBC 1 HD being available on Freesat 108 and BBC HD on 109.

GT, I will be checking the W&G schedule early next week to make sure it happens as it should.

It is right as it stands as its being shown on BBCHD and not BBC1HD.

Its all going to change anyway so Id just do the schedules after 3.11.

The box sees it as being on BBCHD, not BBC1 HD so the timing is correct, take a look on the EPG.

Of course its not going to record as BBC1HD will go onto 108 but theres no way of the box knowing that,

Just looking at BBC HD schedule for next Thursday and notice that W&G is on that channel at 20.00 hours.

Does this mean that all BBC 1 HD programmes that are real HD will get repeated on the Old BBC HD channel? or is this insurance for PVR's.

That'll be nice - just like having a BBC1 HD + 1 channel even if the +1 means 1 day and not 1 hour.
