My 9200 has the latest software, but still, occasionally, after recording a programme, it fails to completely return to standby mode and leaves the fan on. It does leave record mode though.
I've realised that I now have a consistent way to create the problem: simply record The Apprentice on BBC1 on Weds from 9pm till 10pm, followed immediately by The Apprentice - You're Fired on BBC2 10pm till 10:30pm.
I'm not sure why this example generates the problem so reliably. For example, I don't get the problem if I record Coronation Street on ITV for 30 mins, followed by Eastenders on BBC1 for 30 mins, followed by Coronation Street on ITV for 30 mins.
