Oop, me first then?
PM: Sandeesh (Apollo), Stuart (Synergy)
Winning team: Synergy
Fired Candidate: Laura
The one that got away: Sandeesh
Quote of the week: Alex
The eventual winner: Stella
Off the record: Stuart and Sandeesh have both kind of put themselves forward as potential PMs over the last two boardrooms, and I expect LS to capitalise on that this week. Sandeesh seems to be constantly out of her comfort zone in the trailer, but I think Lord Sugar's more likely to have it in for Laura, as she's a weaker candidate. Can't imagine Sandeesh lasting much longer than her, but I should think that she will stay in for a few weeks yet. Think Stuart's got a lot of potential, he's very malleable. Like Debra of last series, he's got a bit of aggro and is prone to mess things up, but like Debra he's a clever type. Cleverer than Debra, even, I'd say, and less aggressive. I think he'll go far, and can imagine him performing well as a PM.
Alex is an odd candidate but a strong one, and I think he's going to increase in popularity over the next few weeks. I think he does say a lot of funny things, as well. With Melissa out of the picture, I think he's probably the person we can most rely on to say something a bit odd.
Think Stella will win. She reminds me a bit of Yasmina. She's intelligent and has very strong leadership qualities, and while she's flown under the radar a little more for the last couple of weeks, keep in mind that this time last year, Yasmina was very much in the firing line and yet she went on to win. It's early days yet, and I think Stella's going places.
Think Alex and Christopher might be dark horses to win, though we've not seen much of C-pher yet. Would like Stuart to win, he's my personal favourite right now and I think he's got a hell of a lot going for him, but I can imagine him quite easily messing it up. He strikes me as capable, but prone to ruining things.
And Liz, of course, is going to have to do a lot of work to get out of Lord Sugar's good books. Even if she were to turn up in the firing line for the next two weeks running, I can't imagine she'd be particularly inconvenienced by the fact. I can see her going out eventually, but for the next couple of weeks at least, I'd say she's nigh-on untouchable.
