So, when she stands there and says 'yea, that was the real me', after another gurning, skanky performance - that just a lot of carp (yes, I know that's a fish, I'm being delicate!)

I'd like to see a pantomime call and response scenario -

Audience: Oh no it wasn't
Cher: Oh yes it was (gurn, gurn, attitude, attitude)
Audience: Oh no it wasn't
Pantomime Dame (la Cole): Oh yes it was and don't you upset Mini Me - she's right up my alley, she is........

To be joined by Dannii 'Fairy Godmother', Louis 'Widow Twanky' and Simon Cowell as himself because he's more pantomime than any character I can think of......

LOL. Relax yourself. Cher is free to sing what she wants. I just don't buy that this hoodrat schtick she has going on is actually HER. It feels totally contrived.

Moreover, she's just very basic at what she does. Applying the same yardstick to other contestants wouldn't get us anywhere since the likes of Rebecca are actually credible at what they do. Your mileage may vary of course

Being fair, it's really got nothing to do with her style, I could care less if she sings rap or whatever - I like GOOD rap - she's just bad, nobody can say that was good, nor what she's done so far - she gets criticism due to being rubbish and being wrongly overpraised.

Major tuning issues, breathing issues and she has no control over that voice. However, I would hope that with a decent vocal coach, she might learn some tricks and be an alright singer. Only alright.

Cher can sing. That video was taken like when she was 15 or something (I'm guessing). Not many people can sing that well at that age can they?

That video did have terrible sound anyway (sorry working in TV I pick up on things like this lol). She can sing though, but she's just been overhyped as original. I really can't stand some of her rapping though.
