It was such a WTF moment to begin with but then it just worked perfectly. A performance in every sense of the word. |

I actually think Ruth's best performance was when she sang Love ain't here anymore..however with awesome performances like Always, Purple Rain, Knockin' on Heaven's door etc, she really was amazingly consistent

Oh, Jedward. That reminds me:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr-p-3CC3AU Nothing Wagner has done or will ever do could be this funny and loveable, because the twins were so sincere as they were singing it; it's like they weren't quite in on the joke but were trying their hardest anyway. The best part was when they tried to provide their own backing vocals (at 1.28) as well as the main vocals, and of course the infamous talky bit which they left in despite the implications of twincest that everyone in the nation collectively cringed over. Put simply, a genius X Factor moment, before they jumped the shark completely. |

Always and Purple Rain were the two greatest peformances by Ruth in my opinion.
Incredible than an embarrasing act like Eoghan survived over her. |
