You don't want all singing and dancing but you want the above? I would suggest you're talking smartphone either way if you want that lot.

If you want decent satnav then you need to look at the more recent handsets using the better GPS chips so that a standalone GPS receiver isn't required to get a decent signal (unless of course you don't mind that).

In terms of touch screen, look for capacitive if possible to avoid having to push your finger through the glass to get it to respond.

WiFi, Facebook, internet, email etc. is pretty standard with most ranges of smartphones these days. However if you want things like WiFi N then again look further up the scale. If B and G are fine then look lower down.

I would suggest an Android phone personally. You get a wide variety of choice there to match your budget and most of the above features should be easy enough to find.

Give us an idea of a price bracket and a few more details and see if anyone can shed any more light. The more you tell us the more we can help you

prefer on PAYG

Fair enough. Still doesn't have to break the bank, but be prepared for a higher initial cost for PAYG over contract.

I would say the Orange San Francisco for £100 + £10 top-up.

It does all of that I think.

Call TMobile, ask for a PAC, give it to Orange.
