I was never much of a fan at the time and thought he was quite bland, but he seems like a nice guy and will be interesting to hear what he sounds like now

I'm not looking forward to this. If he does perform then when the credits/build up to the song come on what success are they going to put on them. I can imagine it. Worldwide records sold - Zero etc... It would be such a laugh. lol

Well I'm sure that two platinum-selling albums are worth a mention for starters.

Thats what I thought it would be now as Take That would be performing their song on the same day you can download it.

A rumour doing the rounds is that the soon to be Lord Cowell of Elstree has formed a new 'Supergroup' consisting of Shayne Ward, Steve Brookstein and Leon. Allegedly the global frenzy for the manufactured boy band 'One Direction' has prompted him to put together this next great sensation. As he so succinctly put it "....er,look guys, er, do you know what, your all, er, winners, what the industry needs is a boyband for the wrinklies.....it fits a gap in the market and allows me to use the word 'Genius' for the 17th time this series"

I'd imagaine it'll be like this:

7th: Shayne Ward, Kylie Minogue
14th: Take That, Westlife
21st: JLS, X Factor finalists' charity single

People on here seem ignorant of the fact that Shayne's actually been successful with everything he's released. Comparing him with Steve Brookstein simply makes them appear incredibly uninformed.

Agreed.

They should have modelled him after Justin Timberlake but he got stuck with being a one-man Westlife instead. Such a bloody waste.

And he doesn't deserve bitchiness. A genuine, nice bloke, with a great voice. What's there to bitch about?

they managed to make one for Joe, without mentioning any success, instead opting for "He was a boy from North Shields with a dream ...etc..." which looked rather ridiculous compared to the others.

Excellent news, the X Factor alumni must always be invited back if they have new music to promote. They keep going on abut how proud they are of the acts that come from the show and they should give them opportunities like this to promote new music.

UGH. Westlife? I am so sick of Westlife!

I want to see Pixie Lott and Mariah Carey. That's all I care about.
