I have non-guaranteed tickets for the X Factor on 6th November

What time do you have to start queuing to have a good chance of entry to the show?

Thanks

Because they give out more tickets than there are seats

I heard someone say 2pm on a similar thread, but I've never been so can't be sure

Did you get them through Applause Store? If yes, do you mind if I ask you about how you did that because I'm trying and I'm not sure if I'm going it properly - did you need a promo code?

We went week 2 on the Saturday. Queued from just before 1:30 and only about 120 people in front of us got in, and about 12 people behind us. There could have been around 300/400 people behind us too, and our seats were restricted view because of the numbers left. It depends on how many guests/VIPs there are (Talk Talk had loads of people there when I went,ITV2 did as well, plus journalists/celebrity guests and whatnot) So I would suggest before 1pm to guarantee. Saying that, apparently they got 500 people in week one, so its hit or miss. Get there EARLY. There is a McDonalds nearby, so you won't starve! And wrap up warm.

Went last year and got there about lunchtime - there were about 30-40 people in front of us and I guess they let in around 300/400 altogether - although many, many more people than that turned up - they must treble book the seats. The studio is tiny and only holds 600 - a fair percentage is made up of VIPs, production and sponsor guests plus contestants family. Hence not a huge amount of stand by tickets will get in.

Id say get there around 12 to be sure of a seat (but even then there is still no guarantee if celebs turn up en masse ). You MIGHT be safe rolling up early afternoon but any time after 2pm is probably a waste of time to be honest.

Its not too bad to queue - there is loads nearby and as long as you come prepared with something to read or a few games on your phone you'll be fine!

PS - got a spare ticket?

The earlier the better. I would agree around 12 would probably give you a good chance.

On another ticket note, has anyone managed Take That tickets? I'm still in a queue on two websites, wondering if its even worth keeping trying.

Got mine!!!! Saturday 2nd. But I did cheat a little, because we are members of club Wembley. Still cost £90 each though, but they are premium seats.

You can get platinum hospitality packs. They are £300 each, but that includes VIP entry, pre drinks, hot and cold food, special box seats, souvenir program, after party, goody bag etc. sounds dear at first but really good value if you want to make a night of it. At the price of food there (Coke £4, crisps £3 etc), it might actually work out cheap!

did you register as a member? If you did, you just click on the box. They are running a reserve list now, so don't hold your breath,

It's nice to know X Factor treat their live audience like cattle in the same way they treat their TV audience as idiots.

Yeh, like I am really going to spend money on travelling, put up with shit weather and then be turned away. Mind you it could be worse, you could get in and actually have to LISTEN to them!

All tv audiences are oversubscribed though!

When I went to Must be the Music final there were at least 500 behind me, with tickets, who didn't get in.

I got on the reserve list for the auditions, but I'm not sure if there's a different one for the lives or not since I got emails for the auditions but not for the lives.

Anyway thanks for replying, I'll keep trying just in case

I've registered for all the live shows and no luck so far. I am on the reserve list but I assume lots of other people are too? Do you think I have a chance?

I got tickets to Dancing On Ice once, but it was only to the dress rehearsal so it was a bit of a waste of time really.

If you do get into the live shows, are the staff really strict and don't let you leave your seats? Are you allowed to walk around the studio, say you need the loo or something, or is that strictly for VIPs only?

Also does anybody know how to actually get tickets into the live shows NOT via applause store?!

I worked on the shows last year and we used to arrive at 12pm and there was always a queue. So I'd say around 11am.

Go to wembley website, I think they are available on the hospitality dept section. We are Club Wembley members, but i think you can still get them if you're not. There's a number you can call.
