Very impressed with Corrie's Thursday night rating! However, it was bound to be dented by CIN last night, any figures in yet?

That huge drop across the week for Corrie must be due to the quality of the show !

Note - ITV ratings for Friday exclude HD. 2nd Corrie should be ~6m including HD.

Nope, that figure excludes HD figures.

..I thought after last Fridays rating it would at least be over 1 million. I think +1 adds around 0.1m, so it will still be under a million.

I'm thinking CH4 might drop the Friday episode soon and isn't Hollyoaks coming up for renewal quite soonish too?

Ouch for Corrie and Hollyoaks. Then again, it was Children in Need night so that explains Corrie. Not sure about HO since it aired before CIN, but maybe less people watched because of that? I hope so anyway, it's been doing so well recently.

What do all those Corrie fans who were slagging off EE for getting low ratings on Thursday think?

Have we seen a week before when all 3 soaps had an episode under 6m?

Figures of 6 and 7 million were to be expected with coverage of CIN dominating the evening

How could Corrie clash with Emmerdale?

I find it funny the way everyone is defending Coronation Street as it was dented so much last night.

But yesterday everyone was slating EastEnders saying it had bad ratings against Emmerdale as it isn't good.

Funny the way things turn out.

When the start of the week EastEnders had 9.9m.

Example? Who here slated EE and defended Corrie?

Both dips are understandable and both shows will be back up again come Monday.

I remember now, Emmerdale ran 19:00-20:00, Enders ran 19:30-20:30 and Corrie 20:00-20:30.
