British Summer Time ending has obviously had a huge impact on the viewing figures. What a difference for HO. All soaps did well last night.

I can never understand why the clocks going back have an effect on figures. I can understand this time of year figures go up because of the weather and colder weather and people being in more.

Great Ratings for all the soaps last night.

EastEnders,Emmerdale and Coronation Street doing well.

Eastenders and Emmerdale are especially doing well.

EastEnders is keeping it closeness with Corrie´s audience and Emmerdale hitting 8m again!

I think EastEnders is going to increase viewers week by week now as the darker nights are here and that goes for the other soaps too.

Wow, very good ratings all round last night. Must be the colder weather/darker nights effect starting to kick in.

Some strong numbers for the soaps last night. Great to see Corrie hit 10m and seems to be beating EE abit more now. Hopefully things can continue as it approaches it's 50th Anniversary! Emmerdale is so strong at the moment. And that rating is UP 0.7m from the same episode last year. Oh and good to see H&A crack the 1m+ figure.

Nothing for the other soaps at the moment but wow! nearly 11 million in total watched EE last night! it wasn't even a big episode.

Not very good for Emmerdale. 2 million behind EE. Nearly 4 if we take the BBC Three rating into account.

I remember when EastEnders only used to top 1m on BBC 3 if Emmerdale clashed with it. Just lately, it seems to be getting close to 1m if not topping it every night.
Good night for EastEnders and Emmerdale last night

Very good for EE. The clocks going back seems to be helping all the soaps.

Emmerdale - 7.4m/33%
Is that the slot average for Emmerdale? DS have reported 7.77m (34.7%). I assume DS' rating is tape-checked.

Not very good for Emmerdale. 2 million behind EE. Nearly 4 if we take the BBC Three rating into account.
When has Emmerdale really been close to EE? Sure it sometimes beat it in head-to-head battles, but overall EE has always been way out in front.

'Neighbours', 'H&A' continue resurgence
Tuesday, November 2 2010, 16:18 GMT
By Paul Millar

Channel 5's Neighbours and Home and Away continued their ratings recovery on Tuesday evening, according to overnight data.

The latest events in Ramsay Street were seen by 1.46m (8.8%) at 5.30pm, after which Liam's departure from Summer Bay had 978k (4.9%) glued at 6pm.

Earlier at lunchtime, the Australian serials took 900k (11.7%) and 332k (4.7%) at 1.45pm and 2.15pm respectively. Fiver's Home and Away first look fetched 503k (2.3%).

Shocking news for Jodie in EastEnders grabbed the attention of 9.16m (38.1%), after which BBC Three's repeat logged 1.26m (6.4%), while Emmerdale put in a highly respectable 7.77m (34.7%).

Meanwhile, more drama for Brendan and Ste in Hollyoaks appealed to 1.38m (6.4%), before 454k (2%) tuned in for E4's first look at 7pm.
well done to all soaps, not just Neighbours and Home And Away

Good for all soaps and i expect thats how it's going stay for quite sometime however i expect the soaps to be down tommorow night for Bonfire Night.

Yet another good BBC 3 repeat and does that suggest that had it not clashed with football it could have been wellover 10million at 7:30pm?

All soaps are up Neighbours,Home and away,Doctors and Hollyoaks which i understarnd enters a big storyline tommorow.

Doctors mustered 1.83m (23.9%) for an episode titled 'The Comeback Kid'.

Brilliant for Daytime

Really good ratings for EastEnders and Emmerdale yesterday. Emmerdale's 7pm episode was up over a million compared to the same day last year, whilst 'Enders was also up nearly a million year-on-year.
