You haven't included the HD figure for Emmerdale. And it just so happens that the Friday episode made ITV1 HD Top 10 with 517k. Add this to the 7.82m and the final official rating is 8.34m. So EE still win, but the difference is just 32k.

All shows in the ITV1 Top 30 don't inc. HD. All the Corrie HD figures are featured in the ITV1 HD Top 10 so these can be added together to get the correct figures.

Good point, I had forgotten about the HD figures. I wish ITV would just consolidate these the way BBC does, would make things way easier.

I think it it quite good now. In spain watching on I player every night itīs on!

A strong night for all the soaps. Even factoring out the +1 figures those are still strong ratings for Emmerdale and Corrie. As usual EE bounced back from that low rating last Friday. This will probably be the last month of fairly good ratings as once the clocks change at the end of the month and the lighter nights set in (which they already are), it will be only downhill then until at least September time. I wonder how the soap are going to hold up this Summer?!

i would hardly call 8.6 a brilliant rating, at best average. feb 22 ee had 9.4 mill. as previous contributors have said as we get into the lighter nights and better weather the figures will decline until the autumn. saying that bbc1 had a very good audience share in primetime last night, itvs was pretty poor, but tuesday is a poor night in general for itv.

Yes 8.6m is a brilliant rating.
look at the share and the BBC 3 repeat also done well.

Most watched TV show of the day the BBC are NOT going to move it to daytime or whatever silly statements you suggested

We know soap ratings go down in the summer
but are usually above 7/8 million anyway

I expect Corrie to come out top and EastEnders will be dented by the Football over on FIVE again.
And Emmerdale 7:00pm/Hollyoaks for that matter

Brilliant rating? Oh Dan, 8.7m is hardly a rating to be really happy about, is it?

As for Emmerdale it's up 0.2m from the same episode last year so not that low really... (whereas EE is down 0.6m from last years episode).

Yeah and look at the EastEnders storyline last year

Had corrie pulled in 8.7m you would be raving about it(just like Last Friday)

Funny how Last Thursdays and Last Fridays ratings were brilliant despite them getting under 9million

1 Rule for the ITV soaps and 1 Rule for EastEnders it seems

I have never "raved" as you put it about ratings of 8.7m for Corrie. I might make comments such as, solid ratings etc, but would never describe 8.7m as brilliant, cos it's not is it.

Corrie's wedding episodes back in February, now they did pull in brilliant ratings of 11m+.

EDIT- i didn't even comment on the ratings last Friday in this thread...

I was using it as an example.
Im not really that bothered tbh it's just the whole 1 rule for one and one for another thing that annoys me on here.

EastEnders this Tuesday rated about the same as last Tuesday 8.59m (37.1%)

The BBC 3 repeat was alot higher this week though and over a million

To be fair dan2008, I am all about the facts. I often compare ratings on here, to each other, the same point last year etc as that's what it's all about. Yeah 8.6m/8.7m is a good rating. It's not brilliant, excellent, very good....it's just good and I would say the same if Corrie got that rating.

Maybe My Choice of Word was wrong however people seemed to make out 8.6m wasn't good which was what i was getting at

EE just pips Corrie

Neighbours getting a healthy boost for the afternoon showing with a share of almost 12%. I know the evening showing suffered due to the early start but the cumulative figure will be near to 2m which is probably on par with what it gained throughout the week.

Coach Trip seems to have benefitted from the early Neighbours finish with its ratings hitting 1.8m before timeshift.

Bad share for Corrie. But good ratings for both Corrie and EE.
