A good Thursday win for Corrie although still beaten in share by EastEnders while EastEnders itself isn't far behind and put in a good figure on BBC3.

We're right in the middle of summer now, soaps might fall a bit lower in August as the summer holidays arrive but come September we can start looking forward some higher ratings hopefully.

i am not trying to take over this thread, I am just a bit of a ratings geek and am especially interested in soap ratings.

i will no longer post the ratings round-ups and just do this as there are other people who like this thing i do(see above)

I appreciate your posts - it's interesting tto see some of the comparisons.

And much more informative than the usual "my soap is better than your soap" petty arguments that usually clog up this thread.

The repeats should be ignored when you calculate viewing figures. ( I hate that ratings word)

We should ignore the fact that a lot of EE viewers like to watch the programme twice.

Some good figures. Good to see the soaps performing well.

I prefer it when you report the ratings, to be honest. It doesn't quite work with anybody else.

A good night for the big 3 soaps. OK Eastenders About 1 million down from last year but i think it was quite a big storyline then.

All soaps are down on last monday (Including Doctors,Neighbours,Home and away) Thats due to the fact there was alot of bad weather last week and it rained in most places.
Yesterday was quite a nice and hot day for many.
Still not bad ratings for any soap on a Hot Monday night in July during the Summer Holidays

Aaron's trial has been fairly well publicised (at least as far as ED gets) - and it's still a little bit down against the same week last year.
