EE took a bit of a knock from the footie then.

Its good to see Hollyoaks is slowly gaining ratings again. Its almost back to its usual figures now.

Shame EastEnders is still trailing below 8 million however. It should have pushed back over that by now I would have thought.

There was a huge football match on. That's why it was below 8m

I'm not talking about just Tuesday. I'm talking about this period in general. As shown EE was averging 9 million this time last year. Now on average it can't even get over 8 million. That's a drop of a million viewers.

Holy shit. I knew EE's ratings were down on last year but I didn't realise it was a YOY drop of 1.49 million

That's really bad actually. Though Corrie is down just as much so we shouldn't just dump it all on EE's door but at least people are aware Corrie hasn't been in a good place. People seem in denial about EE's current form. You can't argue with those figures however. Make what ever excuses you want but losing over a million viewers in a year would indicate all is not well.

But last year there was a lot of stories going on- Lucas climax, the return of Kat and Alfie and the Vic fire.

Please. There are just as many going on now. Tanya's cancer, Mandy's return. This Yusef/Amira business. The Moon's, etc.

Losing over a million viewers isn't good.

EE was considerably down on Tuesday, because of the football. Yes, it's had episodes wre it has been down YOY, but September last year featured the highly publicised exit of Peggy Mitchell.

People are aware Corrie isn't in a good place? Most people on here believe Corrie is in the best place it's been since around 2004. 2011 has been an amazing year for Corrie.

I don't think people are in denial about EE either. Many people have said it's in a bad place right now, apart from the occasional good week.

Great ratings for Emmerdale though the warmer weather is back in the south so I expect a drop for tonight and tomorrow.

I Don't think we will see a big drop for any of the soaps now. The nights are getting darker now so most people will be inside when they start

Tragic.

The big Carla/Tony and BGT week last year was also a massive flop but at least that was understandable.

Rounds of a poor week for Corrie ratings wise. It would have done much better in its normal slots. Thankfully order is restored next week. Corrie has averaged 7.4m for this special week of episodes which is no great figure at all. Emmerdale has had a fairly solid week and EE has been stable too despite the RoB clashes.

Not very good ratings for EE.

They should be higher now. Corrie has had a big week last week though so viewers are probably tuning in for the conclusion.

EastEnders could be up on last night as tonight is quite a big episode with the fight and the reveal of Eddie and Vanessa.
