So I finally opted for an X10 mini pro for my daughter for Christmas but like to have it all ready to go for her on Christmas day.

So I would like to know, what are the best free apps / games that a teenage girl (13) would like do you think , if you are one or your kids have one?

Anything Twilight a must!!!!!!!!!

This is what I have on my Desire, but I'm more than certain all of these work fine on a Mini Pro

3G Watchdog (If she's on a data plan is a must)
Advanced Task Killers( Makes phone faster/battery last longer)
Angry Birds (Fun, addictive game)
Batteryminder (Numeric battery)
doubleTwist ( Better music player than the one installed on phone)
eBuddy (MSN, Facebook chat etc)
Facebook (Albeit the Android version is a bit a crap, still the best (only?) on the market
Handcent SMS (Better Texting)
Jewels ( Fun, Bejewelled type game)
Movies (Check local cinema film times)
Paper Toss (Addictive game when bored)
Shazam/Soundhound (If you're out and about and here a song you like, use one of these apps and it'll tell you what it is!)
Subcard (if she regularly goes there)

She is deffo for Facebook and Angry Birds goes without saying (I might get my bloody iphone backl off her!) and she loves the likes of bejeweled

I don't know if all the apps (like Angry Birds)will work on the Mini Pro. My wife bought it and discovered that she couldn't get all the apps I had on my Desire so she took it back. Then she bought a Wildfire and again, not all apps were compatible. If they aren't, they just don't appear when you search for them. E.g. I have Weatherbug Elite and for the Wildfire, it's as though it doesn't exist.

In the end I gave Mrs. Elway my Desire and I'll buy something new at some point. Do check first. As you want to set it all up do see if these apps are there and can be installed.
