I thought that the first episode of this series was absolutely great. The first task was excellent. The "some kinda twisty, molecule type of science thing gone wrong" (according to Holly ) was ace. The twist with the $10,000 was also nice I liked one of the reasons that was given by one of the lads saying that he encouraged her to go for it because she would be an easy target for nomination.

On a side note, I thought the show that was broadcast on Tuesday in America was live? Not quite sure how it was because the food competition and HOH competitions were not all live. If it wasn't a live show, how long had the housemates been in the house for when it was shown?

By watching the live feed conversations the people over at tvclubhouse.bomis.com have determined that the BBUSA housemates went into the house on the 30th of June. The Head of Household competition was held 2 days later.

The first task was great. I only wish they had started with a live show when they entered the house like BBUK. Watching the first show with the already living in the house for a week was like watching a soap for the first time and trying to figure out who everyone is and what their story is.
