Hello, I'm bored.

1) A girl has not opened the show yet

2) A girl has only sung second in one week (week two, TreyC).

3) Rebecca has sung first out of the girls in three of the four weeks so far.

4) Wagner has never sung in the opening half of a show.

5) Every remaining act has sung before and after every other remaining act in their category except for Katie, who has always sung after Rebecca.

6) In total over four weeks Katie has sung 23 places after Rebecca, an average of 5.75 places a week over 4 weeks. She sung 21 places after John in total, an average of 7 places a week over 3 weeks - that's half the size of the average number of acts in the competition over those three weeks.

7) I'm bored so here's everyone ranked by how favoured they have been by performance order (this list has been devised using complex mathematical algorithms obtained using my fisher price calculator).

Katie
Wagner (top 2 are very close and are probably interchangeable depending on the system you use)

Huge Gap

Aiden
Mary
One Direction
Belle Amie
TreyC
Matt
Cher

Huge Gap

Paije
Rebecca

Big Gap

(John)

8) Of the eliminated acts, only Nicolo would not be in the bottom three of the 'favoured by performance order' rankings (adjusted for how long they spent in the competition).

These facts were brought to you by the power of boredom and alcohol.

Could you explain the "complex algorithm" used?

Wouldn't it be easier to get the running orders for each week, convert the positions of the contestents to numbers out of 100 (based on the number of people performing each week, in order to prevent week 1 having more weighting than this week).

For example, if there were 8 people left, the person going first would get 12.5 points, the person going second would get 25, third would get 37.5 and so on, and in the following week, with 7 people left, the first person would get 14.29 points, the second would get 28.57 points, the third 42.86 points, and so on. The last person each week would always get 100 points. Then you could add those numbers together for each contestent, so then we could get actual numbers to discuss, rather than someone just saying "my calculator says so".

EDIT: Just seen that other thread, and they did it the way I mentioned! Except out of 10, instead of out of 100.

Also no Cheryl act has opened the show, but one of Louis's has done so twice now.

If they don't put a Cheryl act on first next week,it will look a right fix.

Personally I think that performing first/last out of 16 is slightly more of a (dis)advantage than performing first/last out of 10, so I skip the balancing of each week to some extent (I also skip it because I'm lazy).

Also you may have missed that I was being sarcastic when talking about complex mathematical algorithms.
