Nadia freaked out because she got upset, big deal. You should see us Portuguese girls when we really get pissed off.

It was a bit of a silly thing to get so upset about. Perhaps she thought the others would blame her for having no shopping? Or maybe she just felt stupid for spelling balloon wrong? It was certainly partly to do with the prospect of no cigarettes for a week, but being a smoker I can't say for sure that I wouldn't have been just as upset at the prospect if I were in the house!

Much more pathetic was Michelle's little sulk and walking off in a strop when Stuart wouldn't come in the Diary Room with her........ and Stuart not having the balls to tell her he simply couldn't be bothered with a long snogging session in the hot tub.

Nadia's strop is all the more stupid because her English is *bloody good*. She has a brilliant grasp of idiom and in the diary room she is very articulate and expressive -- the only thing I remember her not knowing in English was the football term "to be sent off" -- she said "evicted" much to the mirth of the others...

She was just having a major panic over thr thought of a lack of ciggies - addiction is a terrible thing and I'm not being flippant there either. Last time she was in tears on the toilet poor girl.

Nadia to win!

But Michelle was drunk.
Nadia's excuse is that she's a selfish moron with a brain the size of a pea.

I think Nadia is self-centered, and very inconsiderate to others feelings. A few weeks ago, when Jason asked her to stop smoking during the nominations (how long is that, half an hour, max), she only very reluctantly agreed. Now, having contributed to failing the task, all she can moan about is not having fags next week.
Also, she doesn't seem to instigate any of the more raucous moments in the house, just join in when others make the first move.
All in all, can't understand why she is one of the favorites to win. Either Victor, or Michelle is my preference!

The Moon is a balloon too..and Nadia why does she have to have one massive binge of hystrical crying and gulping..she speaks English very well... balloon is not Einstein after all and Ahmed also forgein managed Parsnip without crying. Nadia,s strop over fags is becoming a pain in the "butt"..

Victor now is it for me.he causes all the belly laughs in the house, and has endless stream of banter and patter..in the face of it all..

Nadia Stuart and Michelle all have brains the size of small peas and ar all self absorbed and to hell with th rest..they are nice to th others only when it suits them to be and that is generally around nominations build up.

Most of the time Stu/Michelle are so glued to each other they may as well not be in there..go get a room in a hotel or something.

I think it was more a case of being embarrassed at spelling the word wrong. A little bit of an over-reaction in the diary room but it did remind me that she's still in the house so I suppose that's a good thing?

I think it was a figure of speech.

Nadia was angry with herself, but perhaps because of the Latin pride thing, tried to put the blame on big brother. For instance in Spanish 'I dropped it' is expressed as 'it fell from me'.
It was a stupid mistake to make. While they don't use oo in Portugal, the oo sound isn't produced by a single o but by a u, and she must have had plenty of experience using such words as boobs, spoon, moon etc since coming to England.

"I'm upset, cause me and the other HMs will have no food n stuff, and I WANT ME F*CKIN CIGGIES!!!" well disguised I thought

Perhaps they should have asked her to spell "lighter" or "matches" or "lung disease"

At one point it appeared that she was ashamed that Ahmed got his word right and she didn't.

She said Ahmed got his word right and he isn't British,...as though she was ashamed that Ahmed had done better than her.
Then to try and make it look like she wasn't more stupid than Ahmed, came up with the idea of blaming her failure on BB for playing a trick on her.

So maybe that might be where the latin pride thing comes into it.

Both she and Marco assumed they were better people than Ahmed,...so maybe it was the shame that she came second best to Ahmed,...and her poor ego couldn't handle it.
Oh the shame of inferior Ahmed beating her. How can she live it down, the fact that Ahmed is smarter than her?

I only suggest this because she mentioned Ahmed doing well,..and it just seemed a bit odd that she even thought of that at the time.

Obviously the ciggies, and food, and fear of being nominated next week come into the equation too.

Yes Nadia,..that's why lumbering around like a big oaf cackling at everything is so much better for your intelligence and language skills than boring talking and having deep boring conversations.

Using your brain is soooo boring.
