Hey guys,

Is anyone watching T4 at the moment? JLS are doing their concert at the hammersmith apollo and appear to be lip syncing a vast majourity of it. If not all of it.

I dont understand why Britney gets slammed and these guys get away with it considering their from a talent show.

^ I'm watching last night's strictly at the moment but it wouldn't surprise me. I'm not a fan but it's a shame because when they were on the X Factor, it was clear that they could sing live.

They do it all the time, beating that, lip singing to pre-recorded.
Yes, a lot of people mime to pre-recorded, but at YOUR OWN CONCERT. dear oh dear.

I like how 99.99999999999% of the audience are like 9 years old :') Some fans, aye!

Except i am a fan. Cheryl cole sings more live then they do. They do nothing but dance and take their tops off.

What did you expect? I don't think they've sang live once since they were competing on X Factor, so why does this still surprise anyone?

They are a complete waste of space - a selling tool to make money for themselves and their record label. Singing live and making good music is the last thing they care about. All they do care about is pleasing their pre-teen fangirls by dancing around and lifting their shirts, as musicdude said.

I know I go on about it, but I will do so as long as people keep saying "Why are they miming? It's outrageous." Wake up people!

i wouldn't mind them at all if they sung live, but they mime all the time and it is just getting beyond ridculous. I don't no how Simon and Co can stand up and clap when the mime (later on this year) when atcs like Treyc, Katie, Aiden and Rebecca all have good vocal performances and get a simple clap on thier seats.

They should get alot of shit for it but they won't because only childish girls who think they are amazing, when they have clearly proved thier not.

Yeah I know you are aware of it, I was directing that more at some people who often talk about it on here and other forums as if it's some sort of big surprise.

Of course it's still farcical that they mime the whole time, and they deserve heavy criticism for it (not that the arse-kissing press would ever dare to do so to a boyband as popular with kids as JLS) but it should never come as a surprise to anyone who knows what they are like.

I wasn't aware simply because I've never seen them perform (aside from X Factor). They obviously can sing, as they did on X Factor so I don't get why they don't sing live...

probally usig the same excuse as Britney, "i was concetrating on the dancing".

Lady GaGa, Madonna, The PussyCat Dolls and many more can dance and sing at the same time.

Well this years X Factor performance shall be interesting. The new single is a ballad, so they won't be dancing.

Lets see if they manage to sing that live.

The majority of them have resonably good voices. Some have form in the music business before they were formed Childrens TV show's etc. But harmonising is a different thing all together.Having the right type of voices to be able to harmonise to start with. That's one thing I picked up on on X-factor their harmonising wasn't very good at all.Autotune will sort that out in the studio.Using autotune to harmonise voices live would be almost impossible for a sound engineer live though.

I don't think I've ever seen them sing live since X Factor. Their constant miming is worse than Cheryl's because there are more of them, so they should be able to manage it between them, or spread out the singing and dancing so that no-one has to do both at the same time.

They are capable of singing live but they're just too lazy I guess. Maybe performing a full gig is just too much for them. Miming on TV is one thing, at least no-one is paying a good sum of money in that case to see them perform live, so they're not exactly ripping anyone off. But I didn't think even they would mime on tour.
