Yeah a fair bit on iPhone 4 (am on it now) works fine.

Used to have a Nokia 5800 and didn't use that anywhere near as much for DS because it just wasn't as capable lol

I hardly ever do. I view the forums mainly on my iPad. I rarely use a phones small screen to browse unless there is an app or the website is optimized for phones.

Using Opera Mini on a Nokia 5800 and it's great.

Tom, can you make sure that we get the option to choose whether or not to use the mobile skin, please? I hate those sites that force you to use their mobile sites, and where you can't get access to some of it. And when you even type in the url of the page you're after, it converts it to the mobile page. It's so frustrating.

Pretty please?

Not necessarily a solution for you (sorry!), but on iPhone there's an app called 'UnMobile' which doesn't let websites know you're on a mobile so always get the full version. Maybe there's an equivalent for your handset.

The iPhone/mobile version of the macrumors.com forums are fantastic - something like that for DS would be awesome.

All sites usually come with an option at the bottom of the screen to switch to the desktop version. I personally prefer mobile sites which make much more sense on a mobile phone size screen. The iPhone is one of the best phones to browse full websites but it is still a pain constantly having to zoom in and out and drag around the screen. Not only that, but in theory the mobile sites should load faster as well which is great, especially when you have no 3G. Plus I find not all drop down boxes and javascript and whatever else sites like Facebook use don't always work correctly on a mobile phone or tablet like an iPad.

not me, I prefer a phone to be a phone and I don't really like the small screens on phones. also my contract don't allow me to access the net on my phone, even if the phone can. i made sure about that.

I use my iPhone 3gs to browse the forums. When I'm going to write a lot I use my laptop.

I don't have an iphone but I have an ipod touch and I find for typing anything longer the virtual keypad's way too fiddly and I make a lot of typos but for typing a quick post it's really good. Nothing can really replace a laptop though for posting (especially long posts).

I use Opera 10 beta on my Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, works pretty well although DS has a habit of making my phone crash from time to time!

Sony Ericsson W595 with Opera Mini. I've used Opera Mini for a few years now, it's great! I never use the default internet on my phone, it's like going back in time after using Opera lol! I'm on my phone 99% of the time on the net

I sold off my Android phone in that I did not need the extra web distractions.
I have Opera Mini on my 176 x 220 pixels 1.8 inches Sony Ericcson K750.
It does work in the rare times it gets used.
