Fan Review of Lady GaGa's new single
Lady GaGa previewed the first single to her supposed 'superfan', Ryan after her concert in dublin. This is his reaction Quote:
No words can honestly do the material I heard Justice. Lady GaGa has well and truly topped herself with this record and I didn’t think that was possible. I am a huge fan of The Fame and The Fame Monster but the new material catapults GaGa to another level. The music is so fresh and so liberating and it’s almost like a new genre of music. The lyrics are nothing short of genius, GaGa has spent two years working on this album and it really shows in the music. You can tell that GaGa has spent every minute that God has sent working on the new material; it truly reigns supreme over her previous work. The new music took me to places GaGa’s music has never took me to before, it’s really inspirational, empowering and liberating and it will set you free. I know a lot of you are peeved that the album doesn’t drop until 2011 but it’s honestly worth the wait. Lady GaGa is still tweaking and perfecting the album to make it the best gift possible for her Little Monsters. How desperate are we for this song now!
Lady GaGa spoke about her love and devotion for her fans in great detail, crediting them as her biggest inspirations, to quote GaGa said “Lady GaGa = Little Monsters”. I could see in her eyes how proud she was when she played the new songs, GaGa was dancing around the room with the biggest and proudest smile on her face and it was beautiful to witness. The songs I have heard from Born This Way are all number one hits, they instantly become my favourites after only one play. I have never heard anything quite like them before, they are so original and they are a first for music in my opinion. Gaga’s attitude, dedication and devotion to the new material was so apparent, minus the fact she has the album title tattooed on her thigh I could tell how proud she is, she credits Born This Way as her greatest work and It’s clear to see why. 2011 is going to be GaGa’s year, it’s going to take her success to a whole new level and it’s going to prove to everyone who has been negative towards GaGa that she truly deserves the success she has achieved. I was permitted to write a fan review on the promise that I do not reveal too much so I’m going to end this review here. Like all of you I am more than excited to hear the finished product in 2011 … It’s going to be EPIC! You are all going to be so proud of Mother Monster. |

Oh man, talk about building people's expectations up.
It had better be good after this - anything other than an absolute masterpiece will be seen as a disappointment with all this hype. |

To be objective the song could be shit and the 'superfan' would still say the song is the best thing since sliced bread!

She spent two years on the album? What?
I really couldn't take whoever wrote this review seriously lol The OTT description is just off putting for some reason. |

It's too soon for a new record. They're soooo scared of the hype dying down, aren't they?
Regardless of how great she is, she'll be nothing like as big as what she is now within 5 years due to the nature of the industry, damnit! |

I can't wait for her new single and For the people saying it's to soon, it's not. I love GaGa, and like she says she writes constantly and dosen't need or want a whole year taken off to write records.
Some artists you have to wait ages for new music, GaGa just keeps coming back with brillant tunes and i have a feeling that this will be no exception. But i could be wrong. But i hope I'm not. |

And the whole "little monsters", that's so old now. That's so last album. |

Don't have much time for the guy that wrote this. Besides the fact he's a smug and spoilt fan, this 'review' is practically just verbalised fanboy screams. But in his defence, you can't really expect anything else from being in that situation.
The thing that's got me interested is this 'new genre' he speaks of. Obviously it's more likely this guy just hasn't heard something like it before rather than it not existing, but it does mean she's developed her sound to properly stand out from the masses. I count myself among those who were a bit worried we'd just get another RedOne-esque number, which would have been a hit...but not furthered her 'art'. The rest is merely a matter of opinion whether she's topped Bad Romance, Poker Face etc. and we'll have to wait and see. For those questioning her timing, TFM will have come out over a year before BTW does - that's not uncommon nowadays. You also have to remember that she will have finished writing TFM months and months before release, so to her (a fast moving, constantly evolving workaholic) it will seem like so much longer. Judging by what she's said, she wants this album to be career defining. I hate the term, but her 'Thriller'. As opposed to all the others who claim to have a 'Thriller' on their hands, I think Gaga could pull it off. The hype isn't going away, if anything it's steadily growing, and nobody is really providing much competition...so it's all down to her bringing the goods. Which, it sounds like she has judging by what this guy, Elton John and everyone else who has heard it - has said. |

Not very. It's only a song, not a cure for cancer.

I love Gaga, but I hate favouritism. Why does he deserve to hear the song before anyone else... how much did he pay her?

I think the album will be good seen as she has been working on it for a long time and spending lots of time in the studio. Whatever she releases will get to number 1 her first song off the album and the album itslef will get to number 1 in loads of countries

It's not so much as a review of the song as it is of a praise for what he considers to be his "mother monster."
I'm sure the song will be epic, but this guy is just talking out his arse. Gaga is a talented song writer, and I used to adore her, but I don't like what she's become. I miss the Gaga of Just Dance and Poker Face. Things got slightly weirder with Paparazzi and by Bad Romance she was just annoying to look at. "Mother monster", ugh. She's an artist, not god. |

I'm a Gaga fan, but I do get what you mean ^.
However, Gaga is still the same person but I think she's such a hard worker that she became TOO focused in the 'paparazzi'/'bad romance' part of last year. She became really down and sort of depressed too-apparently hardly eating, looking really skinny and quite a shadow of her former self. I think she's back to the proper Gaga now. I hope so anyway..she seems better in herself. |
