I cannot see Anne surviving after this week. How on earth is she going to get through the Charleston.
She has been very entertaining but enough already.

If that Guardian article is picked up by other media outlets, she'll lose a lot of voters.

Oh dear, malcontents? Is that because they don't agree with your views? As to their sad existance, I would have thought all this "drama" and "hand wringing" about A W suggests an equally sad life. Are there not more important things to do than get over excited over who wins or loses a rather tacky entertainment show on TV?

That's because she'll be making money elsewhere.

As the woman in question is using her popularity on a 'tacky entertainment show' to push some pretty abhorrent views, not really.

Ann has a "Strictly" diary in the Radio Times. In next weeks edition one of the things that she says is that she is not going to pick favourite dancers because SHE wants to win.

I am a great Anton fan but surely he wouldn't want to win in those circumstances.

Imagine the show dance?

She'd probably go flying again

Anyway i don't think she'll win (famous last words) but i think she'll be in till near the end.

Did you watch her on tonight ! she believes she can win and obviously is confident her public will keep the ball rolling all the way

I dunno... I got this feelign that AW and Anton believe their time is up soon. There was something in the interview that made me think that...

And tonight - their paso was unappreciated by the judges and undermarked - but that's OK 'cos they do it for the public.

No, I think she may last a little longer, maybe till another 2 or 3 have gone.

I'm finding it a bit boring now and would much rather watch a good dance.

I think Anton even said yesterday something along the lines of he has nothing else to offer on ITT.

There certainly are.

And I have no doubt whatsoever that if you quizzed each and every FM about their innermost concerns in life, SCD would certainly not be writ large. FMs would be concerned first & foremost about their families, their employment, their housing....and all that really important stuff. Y'know - it must affect you, too.

On the other hand, if you wanted to quiz FMs about some of the things that enter their lives periodically and that they really, really, really enjoy, and that brings joy into their lives - SCD would be right at the top of the list.

Seems quite a reasonable balance to me . What do you reckon?

Of course, I quite agree but, when you read some of the postings here don't you just wonder where that joy really is? There are so many irate postings, so much nastiness (even hatred) towards certain of the participants that joy seems to be the last thing on the minds of some FMs. If only it were otherwise and everyone just enjoyed SCD for what it is - light entertainment.

Strictly is a bit like families , You love them deeply , their little quirks get on your wick , you could kill them sometimes, they drive you insane and you them .We love a good bitch and a moan about them , we pick on their faults and nag at them .
But dare anyone else say a bad word about them then you will defend them like a tiger her cubs .

I don't see why not, she is one of the main favourites at the moment.
