Public nominate, HMs evict - ever happened?

Am I misremembering (or dreamt it?) that in an earlier BB they switched round the voting one week?

Whether it has been done before or not, it strikes me as an ideal way to let us get our hands on the villains for a change.

The two (or even three) with the highest votes for nomination from the public would then face eviction by the remaining HMs. Could be very interesting I think. Certainly Jason for one would be up for eviction. As for the other one/two?

BB3 first week. Lynn was evicted instead of Jade.

I would like to see more of this. Viewers will also need to be slightly evil about it. We could break up groups, lovers etc etc. Great for viewers and great for Endemol. The only people who could lose out are the HM's themselves. From the beginning, imagine taking Stuart away from Michelle, Jason away from Victor or the mirror, Nadia from Marco, Shell away from Vanessa.

Once the public have nominated, the housemates sit facing each other and say who they want to go.

Thanks for info.

Well Endemol, if you're reading this, you know what to do next.

I guess this could only be practical as long as there are say more than 6 HMs left, so it'd better be soon if at all.

They'd all be sh*tting themselves for most of the week, especially if they weren't told until Friday night who was nominated by the public. A touch of Evil what?

An evil twist - all hm's up for nomination for the public to vote on - top one identified as A, next as B - hm's asked to choose A or B without knowing their identity. The one with the highest number of votes from the hm's is out. Double eviction - give the hm's the choice of A, B, C with the top two out.

Make it even more evil by not telling them what they are choosing

Exactly what they did in BB3, though only a single eviction...Lynne, which was a shame IMO.
