“FORMER Apprentice star Margaret Mountford is returning to the show, TV Biz can reveal.
The eagle-eyed lawyer has agreed to grill this year's crop of show-offs in the final rounds of the BBC1 reality show.

In a neat twist she will take on the role usually filled by Karren Brady, who took her job as one of Lord Alan Sugar's sidekicks.

The other is Nick Hewer.

A source said: "It's great to have her back and I think she has missed being on the show.

"It's a nice cameo for her because the interviews are a notoriously tough part of the show and she is one tough cookie.

"They will not be able to pull the wool over her eyes."

After five series Margaret, 58, decided to quit the show last year to concentrate on a PhD study of ancient manuscripts

Oh I hope this is true. She was great as an interviewer in the first series. Mind you she had be following them around for weeks, so wasn't coming in cold.

I don't recall her ever doing the interviews. It's been Sugar's three mates that did it.

Brilliant news! I miss Margaret, glad to see her back for a week.

While I do have a rather big crush on Karren Brady, she can't hold a candle to Margaret and her wonderful facial expressions!

Saw her on BBC News other evening, and wish she would come back, as she can always return to her papyrus when show is over. She's a great asset to The Apprentice, and is missed.
