Downloaded this new update yesterday. The only difference I can see is you don't have to unlock a recording before deleting it.
I was hoping the new update would prevent multiple recordings of the same programme's repeats, alas it didn't. I am also miffed by the delays I get when using the fast forward during playback. Sometimes it seems like ages for the FF to kick in. That still happens too. |

does this go on to disc from pc then uploaded to your philips dvd recorder?
Finally you can download it to a USB storage device from the Phillips website then plug it into your PVR and update it that way. Following the onscreen method is by far the easiest. |

Emails, your pvr needs to be connected to the internet to show you have an update available

Why mess about connecting it to a router? The PVR is already connected via the aerial to enable you to update over the airwaves.
If the download is no longer available over the air then you can download the update onto a USB Memory drive, using your PC, from the Phillips website:- http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/d...&slg=en&scy=GB and then plug it into the USB port on the back of your PVR. To run the update see page 31 of your user instructions. |
