How stupid would a dog have to be....

to eat a fricking hedgehog!!!!

Murphy's 'leave it' command is normally second to none - you could call him off warm top quality sausages.

But gets hold of a dead hedgehog and it was a battle of wills!

OK I and a moderately low value treat (cheap ham) won in the end but he was trying to work out how he could get the treat and keep the hedgehog corpse!!!! Spines and all!!! Eeerrgg!!

I feel sick and get flashbacks whenever hedgehogs are mentioned on TV (there is an advert that shows a picture of a hedgehog)

I know I have mentioned that Murphy may have dementia, but he seemed to be improving since the Cushing's diagnosis and treatment (and us going back to remedial training)

But how stupid does a dog have to be to try to eat a hedgehog?

Ew. They probably have stomach acid that could melt a truck, though.

Would you believe that dog's digestive acid was the primary subject of tonight's conversation? Doesn't say a lot for our relationship!!!

Hey, wait until dog meets dead seal.

Let's just leave it at the dog sulked for a week after we pulled her off it and had to take her to the groomers. Nearly as bad as having them sprayed by Skunk

I used to have Victorian Bulldogs and when we heard a certain tone of bark, we'd go fetch the gardening gloves and attempt to remove a poor live hedgehog from them! They never managed to harm them but they certainly tried.
