I kept shouting at the screen for her to shut up. She ruined her chances with that last outburst & when she brought Sandeesh in to the boardroom. Sugar could see it was a tactical decision, all about picking on the weakest, even though she just praised Sandeesh for her work.

I'm even more suspicious of the editing now as from last night's episode it looked as if once again Sandeesh had made very little contribution and it was not until Paloma said in the boardroom that Sandeesh had in fact worked very hard in this task and could not be faulted that we got the true picture. Therefore shouldn't we suspect that maybe we are being manipulated by the editing to think of Paloma as being arrogant etc?

No.

In the fired programme, Paloma basically admitted how horrible she had been and just said she was under pressure in the boardroom and had a strong temperament (crap excuses).

She brought Sandeesh in purely because she's a backroom worker type and easy pickings. She wouldn't give Alex credit for anything at all, not even the advert. She attacked others rather than building up her own skills. She outright lied at various points. She was basically telling Sir Alan that she is a completely flawless and blameless and if he hires anyone else then he's an idiot (which is what she said in the taxi).

A very unpleasant woman, regardless of any editing that may have taken place. I think the only question is whether that nicey nicey image she tried to portray on YBF was accurate or not or whether she'd genuinely managed to change her spots.

actually she treated people like dirt all over lodon in previous tasks . She was hauty , imperious and impervious to her effect on others

I was suprised Lord Alan didn't fire Sandeesh also after she said Alex wa ssoley responsible for the failure of the task . I reckon Sandeesh has a big black mark agianst her for that comment , which showed very poor buisness knowlege or a nasty side to her character. With her reputaion for not pulling her weight and this recent black mark I expect Sandeesh to be gone very shortly if she is nex in the boardroom

I actually quite liked Paloma, she was my tip to win until that last boardroom outburst. Regardless of what you think of her, she was one of the most talented candidates, and Alex should definitely have gone last night.

I hope so.

Sandeesh is fairly pedestrian.

I've never seen her bursting with ideas or being proactive. She's cold and charmless and pretty redundant really.

Apart from her husband (well, I hope she's married to a bloke)...

I suspect that the Paloma on You're Fired probably is and always has been the real Paloma.

I do think it's often forgotten what an artificial situation The Apprentice really is. Not only are the contestants working very hard and under severe pressure (by all accounts), but they are in a situation where on each task if they lose someone will be fired, so it's not surprising that they are often thinking during the task about who they can blame, even though this may be a way they'd never act in a real business situation.

I think Sandeesh already had a black mark against her, to be honest. She nearly went last night, which would have been a shame, as she didn't deserve to go on that task. I do think she deserved to go on the baking task. I know Shibby was hopeless, but Sandeesh's attitude on that task was terrible.

Sandeesh actually had a bit of nerve saying that Paloma had been a destructive influence on previous tasks. Paloma had made mistakes, certainly, but had she been a more destructive influence than someone huffing around saying they "weren't going to do his stupid order"?
