I suspect it was more to do with the timing of the show.

We could have done without the friends.

It grating on me too now ,and she cut Karen off mid sentance before she could possibly say anything at all negative about Ann .Give it a rest Claudia .

I didn't like Pamela referring to Ola as "her". Rude! Obviously it was a joke but her jokes are getting as weary as "funtime" Patsy.

Neither did James, I don't think.

"Funtime" Pammie realy needs to get a grip and tone it down a bit ,Her manic laughter is a tad disturbing ,

Bit of a dull show. Family/friends bit was dull. I am always amazed that Ann has friends

CC cut short as Karen not towing the line about Ann being just the best thing ever.

All in all a bit meh

They had Scott's mum on last week, with photos of him as a young boy! Plus Kathy Lette the author and good friend of Pamela.

Oh dear, someone got a disappointment (he is on holiday, no musings this week).

No problem, I don't always bother to watch myself nowadays. Erin is a must-see tomorrow though

Is the whole of ITT filmed the day before broadcast or just some of the interviews?

she didn't actually criticise her Choreography she said she loved it but maybe it was too contemporary for the judges who like to see traditional routines

I missed all of CC. How very dare people pop round when Strictly is on telly!?

*Ponders for all of 5 seconds*

He's on the team for sure, Fatima.

Ok I only caught the end, and haven't had chance to watch the whole thing yet - what on earth was with Pamela's hair and makeup!?

Karen also mentioned Kara's lift that went uncommented on.

I'm still confused this year as to when they can and cant inlude a lift in the routine, seems much more relaxed than in previous years.

The Judges don't seem to be picking up on details as much as they have in the past, it was only when Len said a couple of weeks ago that they were going to get tough it made me realise that in the past they have come down hard on people like Brendan, but things still seem to be going unoticed!

Karen, as always, was great. I like that she didn't sugar-coat everything tonight. Told it how it is.

I saw similar signs of delusion in Gavin that I did in Craig last year! But it did make me laugh when Katya revealed Gav's main concern was getting his farewell dance right! He does have his moments I guess.

Pamela & James seemed awkward again. I cringed at both of them tonight - James with his 'I peed a little bit' comment (it might have been funny coming out of someone else's mouth but James' delivery is rubbish), and Pamela pretending to get all possessive over her man. Just how many times do we have to endure this charade?

The pair of them try so hard to be funny, that I find it more excrutiating to sit through their interviews each week. Why can't they just be natural, spontaneous like some of the other couples?

It don't think Pamela remembers how to be natural.
I think her whole life is lived out as personas.

Because Pamela's a pseud.

That's all I can say - but it says it all.

I like her but Pamela does irritate me and I don't get the impression that she's being herself. When she's on camera she's playing up to what she thinks the viewers want. Perhaps it's because she used to be a comedienne, but I'd rather see some honesty.

I think that she and James do get on pretty well, but it certainly isn't quite as well as they like us to think and I noticed tonight that they both seemed a bit tetchy with each other.

I don't think Pamela 'only joking' about James dancing with Ola and calling Ola 'her' helped.

I don't think James realised a Pammie is for life, not just for Strictly
