Gmail on android phones
Afternoon all
I have an Nexus One (sim free-O2) and I have always found receiving emails fairly quick but the last couple of weeks they seem to be slowinging down from when they were sent to me receiving them. I thought it was just my imagination but I was speaking to a friend who has a Htc Desire (orange) and she seems to think it has slowed down too. Anyone else feel its slowed down. thanks |

Mrs Elway has a Desire and it's all good. As it is on my BlackBerry Torch.

I have always found Android slightly slower at receiving email. My Gmail always arrives quicker on my iPhone than it does on my Nexus One. I use Google Sync with the iPhone which uses Exchange to push stuff. You could probably set up Google Sync on Android as well as Android supports Exchange although it is easier doing it the usual way.
No big deal for me anyway. I do use push email a lot but I don't need it instantly, I can wait 10-20 seconds before it arrives. |

It has been rubbish for the last two weeks, BUT in the last couple of days has been improving again. During the two weeks market installs have also been problematic and Google Talk hasn't worked properly either.
