Funny Cheryl Cole article
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...ee-Rascal.html Quote:
BUSY Cheryl Cole has recorded a single with Dizzee Rascal, but the Bonkers singer has revealed they've never met. I just found the tone of the article amusing. It makes Cheryl look like a talentless mug who needed big name collaborators to make her album seem 'cooler'. Also interesting that Dizzee basically insinuates that anything Cheryl related will sell even if it is a load of crap.
X Factor judge Cheryl couldn't be bothered to meet the award-winning MC who appears on her forthcoming single Everybody which can be heard on her new album Messy Little Raindrops, released earlier this week. And Dizzee, who last year toured with the Geordie's foe Lily Allen, has shocked fans by revealing Cheryl had no input at all in his work. He even admitted he didn't mind not seeing her as he was worried they wouldn't hit it off. Talking about laying down the music to add credibility to Cheryl's album, Dizzee said: "It was like it never happened. "I never saw her. "They sent me three tracks and I basically picked the one I thought would be best. "It saves money on planes — imagine going halfway across the world in first class then deciding that you don't like the person. If they just send you a track, you can get it done in your own studio, in your comfort zone." While Dizzee didn't enjoy actually collaborating with Cheryl, he admits he was keen to work on her track because of her popularity and guaranteed sales. He added: "It should be good. It will be good. It's Cheryl Cole, innit." |

Such a non story, as have been said all or the majority of artists who do colabs never actually meet while doing them. Alexandra Burke has never meet Ne-Yo despite him being on her album, don't think many people will be going "Oh Alexandra Burke thought she was just to big for him so shuned Ne-yo" will there.

When Genesis released a greatest hits in 1999, they re-recorded "The Carpet Crawlers" with the classic line-up, Peter Gabriel and all... and used something like six different studios to do it. Don't think more than three of the five were ever in the same room at the same time.
