What makes it telling is that two of the new pros, plus a couple of the others, have barely registered on this poll. Supposedly they were brought in to improve things! Yes the current pros combined outweigh the departed pros combined, but a few healthy votes are changing the balance there.
Obviously DS is not representative of the average viewer, but it's still an interesting result.
I would hazard a guess that the increased viewing figures are to do with other changes rather than the pro line-up.”
I agree with Katie, the fact that some new Pro's haven't registered and the wild card vote is fairly large and from reading back mainly for 4 people, I think you can argue that the current Pro's are not doing fine. Some are, some are doing ok but some not really doing it. The class and ability of the departed pro has shown most for me in the Pro dances which have not been as great this year (Cutler choreographed one's were good but with him, Ian and Lilia would have been great! )
The factor that is most telling in the viewing figures is the fact that someone has at last realised that they really don't have to time two of the most popular prime time weekend TV programmes against eachother! It isn't rocket science really!
Also just realised if you add together the top four scoring Pro's they only just get over the 90 votes of the wildcards.
