For me, I might listen to a Christmas song once a week or possibly even fortnight from the start of November. But from about December 14th they would temporarily be added to my main songs playlist.

Haven't listened to any Crimbo music yet, ideally the best time for me to listen to them is after exams or even during the exams to calm me down.

far too early.... it aint crimbo. imho theres only so many times you can listen to a track before it becomes tireing... i was 16 when wizzard and slade fought it out for the crimbo #1 in 1973, i loved them then but am sick to death of them now... i hate the way they are used to whip up hyperbole and excitement for crimbo. real excitement is spontaneous and not "listen to this to make you feel christmassy and happy now!" ..... so no.... imho crimbo songs should wait until december 1st at least, because it devalues the effect it supposed to have.

Agree with most here, some local shops to me have been playing christmas songs for over a week or so now. I can't wait to get out of them.
Sorry, but don't want to hear 'rocking round the xmas tree' in October. For me 1st or 2nd week in December is about right, and only if it's Greg Lake's 'I believe In Father Christmas'. |

Dec 1st ideally, but I have no qualms about the last week in November.
Couple of years ago, my next door neighbour was blasting So Here It Is Merry Christmas in the middle of August
