Tesco Mobile Thoughts (Nov-10)

Hi all. I have seen an ad from Tesco Mobile offering a Sim only deal for £10 per month giving 500 mins per month cross network, unlimited texts and 500 MB per month data (monthly contract).

This seems too good to be true. I currently have one of the old O2 pay and go Sims giving 100 mins per month when you top up by £10.

I have searched the web for expereinces with Tesco and it is not good reading but they were quite old reviews. My real question is, has anybody experienced transferring to Tesco Mobile in the last month and was it painless or is it one to avoid?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I moved to Tesco a couple of months ago and left them exactly 1 month later. In that month I had no internet for about 10 days and no signal whatsoever for a week. Although I was over my 2week cooling off period I eventually spoke to a manager who agreed to cancel my contract. They blamed masts being down, the sim-card being faulty and the phone being faulty. It defo wasnt the phone as it worked with other sim cards. It wasnt the masts because my O2 phone received full signal. And they couldnt have sent me out 4 faulty sim-cards either. Never found out what the prob was but after much arguing got away from them.

Thats just my problem I had though, others may be happy with Tesco mobile.
