What do I do!??!
Hello
I've had a blackberry Bold 9700 since about February 2010 now, and just the other day it conked out. I took it to the t mobile shop and they said there's liquid in my phone and water damage doesn't come under the warranty, so if they sent it away, they wouldn't repair it or give another. So any ideas what i can do now? Other than buying a new blackberry thanks

Are you sure about the water damage yourself?

No phone insurance? erm the guy at the counter opened the back and said the sticker had gone red meaning, there had been water or something gone into the phone. but apart from that, my speaker didnt work and my phone kept restarting. thats the reason i took it back to the shop. And i haven't got phone insurance, and i couldn't insure it now from t mobile because they said its too late to insure it now. |

The guy in the shop is correct. it wont be repaired if it goes off. Your options are to ask them to send it off so they get a report stating it is liquid damaged then when its returned you can ring customer services and they will sometimes do you an early upgrade. You can take it to an independent phone shop who can sometimes replace all the insides but can be just as cost effective to buy a new phone sometimes. Or do you not have insurance on your house or bank cards which will usually cover the phone too.
