Katy Perry - Teenage Dream;
Ke$ha - Animal;
and Joe McElderry - Wide Awake are some of my favourite albums of the year so far but there is so much out this month it may all change.

My favourite album of 2010 (so far) full stop is Marina and the Diamonds - The Family Jewels (favourite all time album aswell).

I think probably The Radio Dept - Clinging to a Scheme [a really beautiful album, especially the song "Never Follow Suit" and perfect for autumn.]

I also like these:

Rufus Wainwright - All Days are Nights: Songs for Lulu
Ou est le Swimming Pool - The Golden Year [Lovely album, it's so sad about Charles Haddon.]
Kelis - Flesh Tone
The XX - XX
Marina and the Diamonds - The Family Jewels
Hurts - Happiness

And I also like:

Miley Cyrus - Can't Be Tamed (surprisingly good album)
Sugababes - Sweet 7
Gabriella Cilmi - Ten
Alphabeat - The Beat Is...

Christina Aguilera - Bionic
Katy Perry - Teenage dream
Miley Cyrus - Can't be tamed (she has totally suprised me on this album, i never thought a Miley cyrus album would blow me away like this album has or even make my list of top albums of a particular year)
Esmee Denters - Outta here
The Saturdays - Headlines
Kelis - Flesh Tones
Sugababes - Sweet 7

These are my fav albums of the year. I know the thread just said Album not albums but i can never pick just one album. It;s ironic that all the albums listed above (apart from Teenage dream and Headlines) just happen to be flops.

For me it's a three-way tie between:

Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier
Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare
Slash - Slash

Proof that metal music is very much alive and well.

Janell Monaé - The Archandroid.

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs.

And, for the sake of it, the Exile On Main Street reissue.
