When I send a text to Canada (which I am billed for of course) does the recipient have to pay also?? Recipient is on Telus.net.

As far as I'm aware its the standard to be charged for incoming calls and texts in North America unless they are included in their price plan.

Can I ask how much you get billed for a text? I use fishtext ( http://www.fishtext.com/ ) to send texts to foreign countries and the UK - its usually around 2p per text. You can use it on the net, and as an app on most modern phones.
