I don't think we'll be seeing much promo for it.

Well unless a ghost or someone dressed as a zombie does the promo... oh wait, Halloween is over

MJ impersonators maybe? Or people dressed as zombies, but Halloween's over so that probably wouldn't be too likely.

Hello! Didn't MJ die or has he been reborn or something.Doesn't that make these releases a little less relevant than someone who is actually LIVING.Isn't it about time (casual ?) MJ fans started to fasinate over another artist - isn't that the one of the fundimental ways culture moves on.
Whatever you say about MJ he is just a memory now, sorry for being so blunt about this.
This is mainly a money making venture by Sony more than anything, MJ cannot benefit from this anymore. His desendants won't even get alot from it even.

You've said this already. It wasn't funny the first time

Not sure on the song....parts of it sound like Michael, but i'm sure not all of it is him.

I feel the same. Really doubt it is 100% him

We really could do with the MJ forum being available again now....

What a mess. This is NOT Michael Jackson singing. Even his mother and kids are saying this is not him.

Truly a cock up of GLOBAL proportions.

Yeah, it was a great idea of DS to close it down when a new album was imminent.

As for the song, i too doubted whether it was all Michaels vocals.

It's Michael Jackson's voice, albeit with some production. The claims by 3T that it's not him are disregarded as nonsense. This isn't a single apparently, just a 'taster' for the album.

Are people really questioning how something can be promoted without the artist being alive?

I think this is him singing but in a fairly tame way for him. Maybe he only ever did a demo vocal for it or something and would have done the final take later?

As a fan of MJ, I have to say that song is awful. Doesn't even sound like him.

There's been a lot of Tweeting going on today. The Jackson family say it's not Michael singing while Teddy Riley who produced this track says it is even though he had nothing to do with the original track. Earlier this year he was given the vocals and asked to do a final mix.

Exactly only this week another Elvis Album has been released and being dead hasn't done his marketing any harm

I quite like the song, its in no way as good as some of Michael's best work, but its listenable

What on earth are you wittering on about? Being dead doesn't make one 'irrelevant' or 'less relevant' - MJ will always be relevant to some - end of.

On topic: I was in HMV on Saturday and there was a track being played which I'd never heard before and which I could swear was MJ but forgot to ask what it was.

Obviously whatever's released posthumously isn't going to be of his usual high standards nor will it have had his blessing but no one can convincingly fake MJ's vocals - it would be madness to even try!

50 Cent and Akon featuring on the album. Ha, awful, especially 50 Cent. Is he even relevant any more?
