She is singing the same kind of depressing songs week in week out.

I'm a fan of hers, but she is starting to depress me.

You mean rather than a slow song that sounds the same as the previous week? lol

Maybe just something with a bit of attitude.

GaGa's acoustic / piano version of 'Poker Face' from Radio 1's Live Lounge would work well with her I reckon.

Kid Cudi and Glee Cast both made better versions of that version of Poker Face, but obviously, I can only imagine Cher doing Kid Cudi's version of it.

I just want her to move a bit more, she has a great voice but seems so stiff all the time. Even if she has an up tempo song like Teardrops she just stands there on the spot with barely any movement. I love her voice and I think she's a contender to win but she is definitely missing something.

I don't think she can do uptempo with her voice. I think it would be a disaster. If she wants to win, she needs to stick with these slow songs.

With Rebecca, I can see so many parallels with Leona (before I get jumped on I dont think they are equal) - she will do the ballads and then one week they will give her an uptempo song just for the hell of it (even though it doesn't work - Lady Marmalade and the "Forgive Me" single by Leona were just plain uncomfortable). Her strength however will be the ballads - if the vocal coaching and fine tuning works she will be phenomenal. You could see tonight how much purer some of the higher notes were

She is even making Page look upbeat .I think she cant win if she doesnt do something less depressing .Also even Mary moves about more than Rebecca and its like a singing waxwork show - yet they never criticise her for taking root

What a terrible suggestion.

I hate this bizarre idea that an artist isnt truly an artist unless they attempt to sing every genre of music!

It'd be like if Elton appeared at one of his concerts and declared that he wanted to be seen as a true artist and attempted to perform a Black Sabbath number - it would just be weird.

But they need to perform if they are going to make it big, for the live gigs they will HAVE to do. Who wants to see a statue singing?

Shes good but not that good, needs more razamataz

Yeah she always sings ballads.

She needs to show that she's versatile or whatever, as everyone else has to.

even oh said would be nice to hear something different from Rebecca, then you'd have to say the same about Cher, Matt, Aidan and I'm big fans of the last two.
