F***ing paso! Who made that one up? Len and his cronies in Penge?

Anyone catch that while Dr Pam and James were waiting for their scores, Matt was in shot slowly and lovingly running his hand down his own leg.

My 3 favourite couples can't really dance, but I'm loving Michelle, she's funny, sassy and quite put out by the fact she can't dance that well. Also surprised myself by liking Patsy a lot, really didn't think I would. Then of course there's our very own Gavbot, who is never going to shine on the dance floor, but makes me laugh. Something has really put a smile on the face of the lovely Katya this weekend, maybe Gav is treating her to more than his dance moves.

Sorry but don't find Widders in the least funny, she has no sense of humour, just tries to put others down and make herself important, she was horrendous as host in HIGNFY, loathsome woman. Also don't get the sex symbol tags for Scott and Matt ???

I also need to non appreciate Len saying "geerchaaaaa" and "goonmyson" and "giveitsomewelly". I feel like I'm trapped in some kind of Chas n dave revival

Agree with everything you say, but am surprised by growing assumption that there's anything between Gavbot and Katya. Quite a few people have been speculating, but the truth of the matter is that she lives with a real man - who is actually a dancer - Klaus Kongsdal - and I can't see any spark between her and the Gavbot.

I can see her flirting with him (for the camera?) but dear Gav remains quite indifferent. She is the one jumping on him, and throwing lines at him - to which he simply does not respond.

She is SO not his type!

He plays up the East End wide boy spiv who done good to an extreme, bordering on caricature.

Was just thinking.....if Katya once danced with Antonio Banderas, how could she possibly fancy the likes of Gavbot?

On the other hand, if you were a beautiful dancer like Katya, used to getting your own way and inspiring slavering devotion - and your Gavbot was indifferent to your charms, and even once told you in training to 'get over yourself' - would you not be tempted to flirt outrageously with him, just to prove you could have an effect...eventually?

I still reckon Katya has some sort of checklist to try to get Gavin votes despite being a quiet type who's useless at dancing. She might not be able to turn him into much of a dancer but in the meantime if he can't work out where the votes come from, she'll follow the usual rules (male semi-nakedness, female semi-nakedness, Welsh flag, showmance). Do you think she's trying to compete with Scott in the Strictly Bingo stakes? Maybe they have half a card each or something. Or they pick cards at the end of each show. It would explain why Scott doesn't appear to have got started on any of the costume or showmance related plots- he's not allowed to go there while Katya's still using those cards.

Does she have psychoanalysing skills then? Didn't realise she'd actually done any studying.

Please can someone clear up some confusion? I thought the very irritating Flissity and My Little Italian Pony did the Paso last week - surely they didn't do it twice?

I noticed on this week's show that Flissity is cross-eyed. Explains a lot.

I spent 4 sodding hours making this authentic Italian ragu sauce (thank you Marcella Hazan! Keep it simple eh?) and now some of it is splattered across the Observer and the ST!

She can analyse all she wants but she's too hefty to do that oft-repeated Katya girl leap into Gavbot arms, no matter how hard she tries.

The funny thing is Gavbot catches Katya with all the enthusiasm of a dog hater being set upon by an enthusiastic Labrador puppy who's been out gambolling in wet mud.

I am impressed that anyone can make ragu sauce, I thought it came in a bottle. The only decent thing I make is dinner reservations.

Just went to turn on the TV and watch the results show, got totally confused by Country File being on, suddenly dawned, I was away when the clocks went back, so have spent the whole day in a different time zone, and it didnt make one bit of difference. Why the hell can't they just pick a time and stick to it - leave the sodding clocks alone.
