He had 2 incidents where he was at fault; hardly barging everyone out of the way.

I don't know why people criticised Alonso for acting emotionally and throwing up his hand at Petrov last year or any other driver for having a little tantrum in the moment.

Emotions run high in the moment and the drivers arrogance and aggression is part of what makes them good drivers.

Hamilton was just joking. I think he's taking it well.

As for the overtaking I think they have got it well wrong.

What they are saying is that its right to cut someone off if they come up the inside of you.

The drivers that gave space when someone came up their inside lost their place and no-one was penalised.

The drivers that cut into someone coming up their inside kept their place and the other driver gets penalised.

I think if someones coming up the inside, and their front wheels are ahead of the rear wheels of the car in front then they shouldn't be able to cut them up.

Brundle: "the problem is with Lewis, it's always somebody else's fault"

If he barged "everyone" out of the way surely he'd be finishing first a lot more often

More than you could have expected?

Makes great journalism though, there's always going to be people that push the limit and seem to get over-punished by the stewards, Mark Cavendish is another one, the trick is to rise above it with grace and humour, something which was seriously lacking from Lewis today

Strange how if a white person had accused him of something because he is black, it would be very serious and un 'PC', however if a black person pulls out the race card it is supposed to be taken as a joke.

It was no joke, the Ali G bit was just added on to make it sound flippant, however he obviously feels he is being victimised because of his race, and that is a very serious accusation towards the FIA. .

Just a bit!!

Good for journos though, as you say.

I'm really not liking all this, his attitude, his arrogance, his petulance and unprofessionalism.

Don't care about how good a driver he is, it's always a plus to be a good person in the first instance.

These four BBC presenters are so very good at working together.

Well done to Jake, EJ, DC and Martin Brundle.

As far as I know the tennis is on another menu already.

I think it was when I started the forum.

EJ always reiterates what a great World Champion Jenson Button was for the sport after his 2009 victory.

He seems a lovely guy, in his interview he was smiling, obviously disappointed it didn't work out for him but accepts the result, congratulates Seb, and said he was enjoying watching the Vettel/Alonso scrap in front of him.

Now here's Seb celebrating ..... a good chance to end this programme on a good note BBC.

Lewis could possibly learn how to be a nice bloke, by taking notes from his team mate.

The situation at McLaren is that Lewis is the better driver, but Jenson is far far more professional.

Depends how you define "better"? He's better at some things and far worse at others. Certainly saw the worst of him today.

I can't believe how long it took Brundel and Coulthard to figure out Alonso and Vettel were not going to stop again.

The situation today where Hamilton had the door closed on him reminded me of a similar manoeuvre he made up the inside of Button a few races ago (I can't remember which), only in that case Button conceded.

Interesting to hear that Red Bull screwed up the pit-stops and that Vettel actually nicked the tyres they had ready for Webbers stop.

If they'd put the options on Vettel he would have been forced to stop again and it could have cost him the race.

I suppose, from Hamiltons POV, Schumacher managed to stick a wheel alongside him at the hairpin and they both made it around without incident whereas when he tried the same thing with another driver there was a crash.
