Are you sure you're watching Montreal 2011? Those streams you're watching on ********** aren't always live I've heard. Typically, recordings of old races, and always terrible quality.

I suggest you get a job, pay your t.v license, buy a hd t.v, then I'll see you in 2012 and you can have a more credible discussion.

What do you say?

To be fair, it's not just the car otherwise Webber would be at least second in the Championship. Vettel is a very good driver - I was impressed with the way he defended his position from Alonso after the first safety car run. I thought the Ferrari driver had got him.

This wouldve been a much funner race if the didnt start it under the safety car. It would have been interesting to see, a standard start, with everyone free to choose their tires.

Vettel: From Turn 9 to Turn 13 it's undriveable.

Haha1 True. But Vettel is definitely a good driver. Even when he didnt have the best car, he exceeded expectations. He just cut down on reliability issues, and all the DNF he had last season. NOw he is unstopable, unless someone else gets a car that can compete.

Hamilton was actually on the outside of Button.

The next corner was a left hander, so Button was moving over to the left on the racing line to take the corner.

I trust you are watching the same race? ..... as you thought Hamilton on the inside?

I wonder if Vettel would be saying it was risky if he wasn't leading?

Not really sure what your point is.

People were suggesting that if car A pulls up alongside car B and car B swerves toward car A then car A should have a responsibility to drop back in order to avoid a crash.

This is quite obviously nonsense as it would, as I said, create a situation where all a driver has to do is swerve toward any driver who tries to pass, regardless of how many moves they make or are entitled to make.

It's all very well "defending a line" but there's a difference between defending a line and willfully crashing into another driver who is right there alongside you.

Button and Hamilton were both occupying their own separate bits of track until Button decided to move onto a piece of track already occupied by Hamilton.

What I mean is inside of Button. It doesnt matter if its the inside or the outside of the track. Its still inside of Button. Duh!

Yea, basically, he shouldn't attempt to overtake when he has such optimal opportunity because of other drivers potentially not seeing his overtake and crashing into him.

If you can't overtake on a damn straight when you're going so much faster than the car you're behind, then you may as well just stop the the "race" then and then.

Hamilton (along with Alonso) is one of the very few drivers that actually make F1 a race.
People whining about him actually racing are ridiculous.

The point to me is, he was so damn slow, he had no business even trying to defend the line. Now he can argue that he didnt see Lewis, but I dont believe that. When a driver is all up in your stream for a while closing in, you can see him, and when he takes one side to pass, you can see it too.

Oh no doubt Vettel is a damn good driver, but it's just getting to a stage where it's pretty annoying, because it's the same story every single race, barring him making some sort of a massive mistake in a race. His car is just at such a different level that it's an uphill battle for others. It's a shame really, but oh well.

Crazy conditions, another suspension. Still gutted Hamilton is out too.

Umm,you sure about that?

I thought it was Hamilton on the left, up against the wall, when Button moved across to the left?

Cos, turn one being a left-hander, Lewis being on the left would, y'know, put him on the inside.

Were you watching them both at the same time? What about a t.v license?

He's like, "what's a t.v license"?

Seriously kiddo, don't cry because you can't take what you try to dish out. Sad.
