Anyone fancy a game of Big Brother 9 Top Trumps? I need two players to start with - those I've mentioned this to, or others if they don't show up.

I'm here, she says cautiously, having no idea what it is.

I'm similarly uninformed but it's a welcome refuge from the washing-up.

It isn't a complicated game.

"Each player takes their share of the cards and holds them so that they can only see the top card. The first player reads out a selected statistic (e.g. Weight or Speed). The other players then read out the same statistic from their own top cards. The player with the best or highest value wins and places all the cards on the bottom of his pile."

People drop out as they run out of cards. But we're only having two players, at least for the moment.

You'll be taking turns to pick the statistic (weight and speed won't be on offer).

I'll be providing the cards via links, partly via PM. It should make sense then...

We'll start with Wonkey and Special as the two players.

Wonkey, here are your cards

Special, here are yours

Ooooo-kay...sounds straightforward enough. Like Russian roulette.

Edit: Is that five cards then? I'm not getting a lot more info than that at the mo'.

Cancel cancel, as you were.

OK, I have card-ish things.

Before I turn over your cards for you, I should say that no one will agree with all the stats, which are out of ten. Generally I tried to be objective and based things on votes, IQ tests, length of time in the show etc.

Other times I was shamelessly biassed. But not that often. I don't want the blame for some of the numbers.

Regardless, criticism of the numbers will be loudly ignored.

Patience. And be ready to check your PMs. I'll keep track of what's in who's pack.

So it's Patience, not Russian roulette. Phew.

Lol.

Hope this isn't a game of speed. I am cooking dinner.

Erm...Dale.

EDIT: Okay, I get it now. "Looks"

I am already mystified. There is no game I am not too stupid to play.

Alex

Only it isn't.

Edit: was I supposed to do this bit as a pm? It is not too late to replace me with someone with a brain...

No, although it's not going to be wildly exciting even at full speed, so don't keep things waiting too long...

Hmmm, you obviously have one with more looks points. But you also have the advantage that you haven't been given a picture of Adele and told to call her Alex.

It's fine.

Dale
would be easier to read.

No, PMing me back would render this COMPLETELY pointless.

OK, so SF wins those cards and they go to the bottom of his pack (I'm keeping track if we play for long enough).

I'll PM again ASAP.

Ah...never did get the hang of renaming actual links. So I'm the proud possessor of Dale and Alex. Where's that old service revolver?

Edit: and it's...

Jen.

Belinda

Goodness. I reckon most of them were pretty evil.

Edit: I'm pretty sure I was meant to go first this time. Anyway, I think I have won Jen. Lucky me.

Edit. Ohhhhhhhhhhh ALEX. I was thinking of BB 3 Alex. I had literally forgotten that there was an Alex in BB9.

I included a bit about how to do it in the PM.

Yes, they're not the two most lovable. Though several of the BB9 HMs were less than lovely.

Ideally, it's better if the person whose turn it is picks a stat before the other person plays...
