Quite, and Anton is positively shining like a radiant star in the sky doing something he is incredibly good at.

There is no other pro who could produce such amazing comic routines and carry it off like he is currently doing, although Kristina came close with that Paso.

I've just re watched it I don't think I've ever seen such a stunned reaction to the result.

I'm convinced Brendan and Michelle thought the were gonners hence Michelles 'They're leaving!?', Brendan's 'I'm so sorry mate' and the fact no one really moved for a few seconds.

Neither of them deserved to be in the bottom two based on last nights perfomance - for aa while Anne amused me now I'm not so sure at least loosing the lifts might help as she'll have to dance

Presumably only to a serious extent by the very small proportion of people who voted for them.

Given that the producers are clearly unconcerned about anything but ratings this year, I wouldn't put it past them to replace Claudia with a Billy Bass for the weekly interview with the Widderbeast if they thought it would get them more viewers...

That's because the BBC blog and Twitter have gone insane, that's where it's all exploded!

That's about the wost thing you could do if you want to annoy the BBC imo - they must be loving all the publicity Ann is giving the show, so the way to annoy them would be to get her off asap!

I've been a bit cranky re eliminations since the week last year when Tuffers and Jade went in the same show. Both faves fell victim to the fickle finger of fate within a couple of hours. The only cure appears to be voting repeatedly for Katya.

Hm. I said at the time that I didn't think Jimi's routine was awfully good but he was better than Patsy or Gavin or Pamela, any of those 'should' have gone before him.

The invitation to Ann Widdecomb was always cruel. I said that at the time too. Anton's routine this week was offensive. Laughing with someone having a go (or not) is one thing; creating a routine specifically designed to laugh AT the other person is cruel and naff and tacky and ungentlemanly.

But I would have missed Brendan and Michelle more

Talking of Ann - did anyone spot her in the commiseration crowd?

Me & OH tried in vain to spot her - but I'm convinced she wasn't there!!!!!

I completely disagree there is not one person on that show who is more gentlemanly than Anton. He's making the best of what he's been given - he has to be seen that he's making an effort or he may not be asked back next year. He knows she can't dance for toffee. He's doing his best to put together a half decent routine.

Please BBC give him a proper dancer next year!!! I want to see Anton win the glitterball with a good dancer - not a sack of spuds that waves her arms a bit...

She was there- towards the side that Tess stands on. Mostly hidden, but I saw the hideous green colour of the dress.

Shame to see Jimi and Flavia go - still at least there was something worth watching tonight instead of the usual clapped out old coke sniffers this show usually has for guests - Bryan was divine as always with his gorgeous son on drums - ho hum - back to the usual with Annie Smuggox next week and I bet Rod Stewart'll creep out of the woodwork again before this series is over.

Having watched "2012" I recognized him, but didn't know his name.

To me, as far as dancing goes, Jimi was just part of what I dub "the gang" (Jimi, Felicity, Michelle, Pamela, Patsy, and Tina), all of which one week could look fine but then on another week not dance well. So that Jimi is now the second of that group to go doesn't surprise me.

It does surprise me that 2 out of the gang are now gone when 2 of the bottom troupe are still around. I can only assume that there are a lot of frustrated women out there voting for Gavin (and maybe all of Wales?), and that the Ann is getting some loyal Tory vote.

I don't think it's fair to put Pamela in that group, as she's only had one "bad" week. Scott had a bad week this week, so he's not infallible either.
